Fox vs. CBS

I was wondering which one you would rather watch a game on. I like Fox much better. I don't know if it's my reception or what, but CBS's picture looks blurry and dull compared to Fox on my TV. Fox's picture is much clearer. I don't know if Fox has better cameras or if my DirecTV signal is not that great for CBS. What do you guys think?

that's so weird that you say that...cause i felt the same way. not that the reception on cbs is different, but that there was something about it that was different. i really didn't know what, but i was thinking that...i thought it was just my subconcious liking fox better because it plays nfc games meaning they cover the redskins...but now that someone else said something, i think fox's cameras are clearer, or the color is darker to make it appear clearer.

geez, who knows. but i thought that was a weird coincidence that someone thought the same thing

I just wish FOX would lose the constant banner on the top of the screen. Other than that, on DirecTV I have been amazed at how some feeds are better than others - didn't break it down to whether it was Fox or CBS tho.

Fox. Announcers are more intelligent, they elaborate on their views, and are NOT boring like CBS's announcers.

Picture and sound are a lot better. So is the theme music.

Anyone else love when Joe Buck basically called shenanigans on some ridiculous claim that Collinsworthless made that he predicted something in his mind?

My only beef with FOX is that the HD signal doens't reach to my parents' house, so I can't go there and watch the Skins games in HD.

I think that most announcers talk to much and are too easily excited--but FOX (in my opinion) has a better picture, better music, and I really don't mind the ticker at the top all that much.

Fox all the way. Their picture seems better plus I don't have to listen to Phil Simms or Boomer babbling on and on.

Fox easily

Fox...easily. My main reason is because I cannot receive a HD OTA signal from CBS and the DirecTV version of my local channels are hideous. I almost had a migrane the last time I watched a non HD game on Sunday Ticket. The picture is usually a bit snowy and on CBS for the Colts/Pats game the screen was way off...I couldn't even see what down it was. Horrible.

I was referring mainly to Stockton, Aikman, and Collinsworth. They are knowledgable of the game and unbiased. To me, they are the best "all around" tandem.
