That's one of the most cliched expressions in all of sports. Balance is what wins championships.

The Ravens were atleast efficient, a defense alone isn't going to do it. If it could we would have atleast been in the playoffs.

the point is their defense was what was responsible for them winning a championship

Offense wins games, defense wins championships. That means you need both. That is why the Steelers are in the championship game and the Redskins are watching the championship game.

Special Teams are over-rated...look at how much success the REdskins had under....norv.....and.....spurri....never mind :oops:

I hate to say this, but Collinsworth said it best last night on Inside the NFL..."the team with the best defense wins".

Did anyone see this? I enjoyed him poking fun at comparing Marino's career 87 yards rushing to Vick's 118 in last week's game....and Marino fighting back with Collinsworth's -18 career yards rushing :)

we'll find out on Sunday, it'll be interesting to see if the Pats can stop Pitt's running game
