i don't get it. a whole year away from the game to do nothing, but yet a lot of people think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
give me an impact lineman on either side of the ball, and let someone else take a chance on the next michael westbroke, err i mean the next rod gardner... err i mean mike williams.

We can't do that HS, we need another star player

Very true! This years draft should have a ton of talent at WR, we should just look elsewhere.

Williams is an amazing athlete. It really wasn't his fault that he didn't play - thanks NCAA! I hope he has great success at the next level. Odds are - he'll be in the Pro Bowl next year.

If Mike Williams hasnt been sitting on his ass this year and training like a madman I dont think he would have hurt himself at all this year. Hopefully he will have improved his speed and will become more of a deep threat. Obviously his catching and conditioning and stuff will be rusty, but thats something he can shake off during training camp/preseason.

Mike Williams is not Rod Gardner or another Micheal Westbrooke.

If Mike Willams is there we need to take him because then the other defenes can't put 8 in the box to stop portis we will have a big threat down the field like a randy moss but a little younger

What i meant was he would make the big plays of a randy moss since he catches almost everything he might not have the 4.3 speed but that means nothing. What the redskins need is a big powerful reciver that going to catch the ball.
If not there take David Pollack(DE)

Randy Moss and Mike Williams are both talented, but the redskins don't need to draft a wide out. It was an off year offensively because of a quaterback change and a brand new, difficult to learn system. The best thing the skins can do offensively is to not waste a 1st round pick on a skill player. A DE with the first pick would improve a allready great defense and not add a high profile rookie to a offense that needs to gel together and advance from last year.
