I vote Pennington. His semi-strong arm just wont get it finished.

Under compromising situations, the First Lady of Offense will do -everything- within her power to avoid any balls thrown by MacNabb. He goes nuts and seeks a divorce, ooops, I mean a trade after that....

I'm not convinced that Pennington can lead his team to two consecutive upsets on the road against top AFC teams. Remember, had it not been for the slick field in San Diego, Chad would be watching NMarty and the gang riding into Pittsburgh.

2 votes for Brady? Get real, Brady is Mr. Big-game...he won't let his team down. His defense/secondary might, but it won't be Brady's play that loses the game.

At this very time last year, people were writing columns about how nobody could stop Manning and the Colts' offense; and they sputtered big time. I like Manning, and hope that they don't stumble, but I see it happening.

No, I actually picked Brady. I just have a weird feeling about it.

i hope you're right. i can't stand the nfl's new poster boy. i was going to buy a box of football cards the other day, but all three brands of cards had.... you guessed it... tom brady on the front of the box. so, i didn't buy any at all. damn i hate that guy. the only thing that would be worse is if he played for that team in texas. :puke:

Yikes, don't even type that!!!

For some reason I think Culpeper may be about at the end of his run. As much as I would like to se McNabb and the Beagles go down, I just don't see it.

It might have something to do with that game against Miami.

Yea, pretty much.

Pennington just doesn't have the arm to get it done. But deep down inside I hope it's McNabb.

I called it on the Jets.
No touchdowns for the offense.
They done mailed it in.
Think they're missing a healthy John Hall, right about now ?

I had written MacNabb but Big Ben did about everything to ruin the Steelers season yesterday.

They were -just- one crossbar away from being eliminated. Man that was close. Brien must have had a warm welcome in the locker room...

Who would have thought it would be Manning?

I did, as soon as I saw the snow. I had driven my daughter back to college in Massachusetts, and we had taken our annual walk around Walden Pond...then on to Worcester...overcast, wicked cold, with a wet feeling to the air.

We went to a bar for dinners, and saw the first quarter. After Manning rifled a pass through a receiver's hands, I thought, well, now, I wonder how often it snows inside his dome, and can the Colts adjust to this. Manning looked like he wasn;t having much fun.

Going the other way, Brady looked quick, smart, comfortable.

By the time I got onto I-84, listening to, of all people, Rick Walker and Jeff Bostic do commentary, "manning has to start making plays..."

I just got that feeling about him that whole week. Same thing as last year--"who can stop the Colts high-powered offense?" Manning is good, but I'm starting to wonder if, like Culpepper, he's not just going to choke any time he brings his team into a big-time situation.

Who would have guessed after Marino's first three years in the NFL that he'd never get (back) to a Superbowl, despite putting up amazing numbers all year long? One of those intangible qualities, I guess.

And now (after Falcons/Eagles), how about Vick?
