No poll...I'm just curious, and curious about the reason.

I will root for the Eagles, because they represent the NFC East. I would even root for the Cowboys...hard, but, still...

You know, my best friend is a Die Hard Eagles fan (I know, but I did live in PA for like 5 years) and he's in Iraq right now, so go Eagles!

It would be sweet for them to win without TO, I'd love to see him have to sit on the sidelines while they win, haha.

I'll root for anyone who beats the Eagles. I believe that we'll see the Seahawks in the bowl. The ONLY team I can think of that will make it, besides the iggs. Sadly No Panthers...

Chargers and Seahawks..now wouldnt that be somethin.

How could any Redskins fan even root one little bit for the Eagles?!?!?!?!?! Their fans are such scum!!!!!

I am rooting for every team that plays the Eagles.

In the AFC, I guess I'll root for the Colts (cuz I'd like to see Manning back up his record with the win...or, if they can't go, the Steelers.)

But....for the next few weeks, I'll be proudly wearing my Calvin peeing on a Eagles helmet shirt with "PHILLY SUCKS" on the back of it [bought it at the Skins-Eagles game] and I'll also buy the baseball hat of their opposing team. I'll then wear this "uniform" at the local brew pub where all of those loser Eagles fans will be watching the game.

Rooting for the Eagles?!?!? NO WAY IN HELL!!

Well, if he's going to fight in Iraq the least I could do is root for the Eagles.

A lot of their fans might be scum, but the TEAM is made up of some blue collar workers... and Todd Pinkston.

BTW My friend Chris, his mom, his dad, his 2 brothers and two sisters are big Eagles fans, so we know there's at LEAST 7 Eagles fans who are great people.

I'd really like to see old Alligator Arms get hit by a ball square on his helmet trying to go deep for a game winning touch down in the last 30 seconds and then limp of the field.... 8)

Classic Stinkston.

Seahawks, Falcons, Chargers, Jets, Vikings, Packers, Rams, and Colts. It doesn't really matter to me.

I'm rooting for the Chargers. My dad's a Chiefs fan, so I like to push his buttons about their current suckage.

Season is -over- for me.

It is true that there might be a handful of good Eagles fans but most of my experiences (and others I know) have been bad.

I will not cheer for but I expect Pittsburgh to win it all. I like Tony Dungy but Pittsburgh is too much for most teams these days. New England will be out after their first game.

Not rooting for anybody.....my team didn't make the playoffs

However I will pull for the NFC team in the Superbowl
(after Philly loses in the NFCC)

I'm pulling for Seattle by process of elimination.

No on the Eagles because they're the Eagles.
The Patriots because they would match Dallas' 3 in 4 years.
The Steelers would tie the Cowboys' 5 SBs

No on Atlanta, Indy or Green Bay because I don't think I could stomach even more Vick, Manning or Favre talk/commercials.

No on St. Louis and Minnesota because Martz and Moss are the 2 biggest ****s on the planet.

I don't know if I could stand all the Quincy Carter fans on the Dallas boards talking about his SB ring so no on the Jets.

I'd hate to hear the "we should have gotten Plummer when he was available" so no on Denver.

The thought of hearing Berman sing "San Diego---SuperChargers" for a month straight send chills down my spine.

Leaves me with Seattle. Plus it would be nice to have beaten the SB champs even in a crappy year.

::shudder:: Good heavens no! Why would I befriend a Yankees fan in the first place?? This conversation has taken a turn for the worst. :puke:

In any case I don't have NEARLY as high a distain for the Eagles (or Cowboys or Giants for that matter) as I do for the Evil Empire. So I think this is a little different. I guess I just know a different brand of Eagles fan than you guys, all you see of them is the soccer hooligan side, but the ones I went to high school with, and were neighbors weren't that bad, not that I'm going to change my allegience in the NFC East or anything :)

My best buddy of 10+ years is an Eagles Fan, we go every year to the eagles/skins games... I wouldn't root for them if he was on his death bed....I'd be like... "Sorry E, you can hope they get to the big show while your in the afterlife." :D

Well, I suppose I'll ONLY root for the Eagles IF they make the Superbowl.

I have some family and friends who are Patriots fans too, but I always usually root for the underdog... However if it's New England vs. Philly in the Super Bowl then a dual championship in New England would be pretty cool. (The Pats would no doubt dismantle the Eagles with little effort.) Of course there's also the Steelers who I'd like to see have some success...

If only the Redskins had won 4 more games, then they would be in it, ::sigh:: lol. Hopefully with the right moves next season we will do just that.

I'm hoping it will be the Chargers vs. the Packers. I wouldn't mind seeing the Seahawks and the Chargers.

I gotta go with the Steelers. I love their toughness, mentality. Plus one of their coaches is Russ Grim.

I would love to see Deuce Staley when Super Bowl MVP Just so I can rub in in the obnoxious(only obnoxious) Eagle Fans' Faces.

They run a real close system to ours also. They are like a modern day version of the super bowl redskins.

This should be our mold for 05.

Nor is there a Dirk Diggler, for that matter.
Frankly, I'm shocked you even brought it up.
