Running Back Situation

The Times has an article which heavily addresses the running back situation and has options that we may go after in the offseason:

Current NFLers:
Curtis Martin
Eddie George
Corey Dillon
Kevan Barlow
Troy Hambrick
Duce Staley

College players in the draft:
Chris Perry (Michigan)
Steven Jackson (Oregon State)
Kevin Jones (Virginia Tech)
Greg Jones (Florida State)
Carnell "Cadillac" Williams (Auburn)
Mewelde Moore (Tulane)
Michael Turner (Northern Illinois)

The Washington Redskins have five games to figure out who's who at tailback.
Is Trung Canidate the player who plowed into holes that weren't there and failed to shed first tacklers? Or is he the back who bowled over Miami middle linebacker Zach Thomas on Sunday and averaged more than 5 yards a carry in the second half?
What about Ladell Betts? Is he the guy who generated less than 2.3 yards a rush in consecutive losses to Philadelphia, Buffalo and Dallas? Or the one who dominated the opening win over the Jets?

I personally would like to see either Barlow, Kevin Jones, or Cadillac Williams in a Skins uniform next year

Kevin Jones is a bad ass and does not get enough press. IMO he is the best RB in college. But we have other needs that take priority...DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE

Ok, I have a new favorite. Kevin Faulk is gonna be an UFA at the end of the year, I think. So we should try to get either him or Barlow. That would be nice if we got one of them.

You know what? I'd like it very much if the Skins actually gave Rock a fighting chance. If he had more carries, I think he could win the job.

they claim his stature won't allow them to give him a chance...I'm not sure why....so he's short...so what
