News
Running back Clinton Portis' season is over. He suffered a torn pectoral muscle on Sunday in the Redskins' 14-10 loss to the Cowboys. According to the Associated Press, Portis won't need surgery, but the injury would have sidelined him for several weeks if the season were not so close to being over.

Ladell Betts will start in place of Portis next week against the Vikings. Clinton had a disappointing season with 1,550 total yards and only seven touchdowns, which was seven below his previous career-low.

Hey Clinton! Get well, enjoy your "off season" and come back and give us some more next year.

I was not disapointed in his 1550 yards this year. I think we are seeing how good he can be, even behind a line and scheme that was not "in play" for him. I think we have a very good RB and he will be even better next year.

Yea I was a little surprised when I read that article and they called his season dissapointing. The seven td's was a little dissapointing but I think that that's a result of the struggles on the OL. Considering how bad our offense has been this year, I think that it's a miracle that Portis got as many yards as he did.

This sucks...I'm going to my first Skins game this Sunday and I won't get to see Portis play. I hope he gets well soon, our revampted O-line should unleash him next year!

Portis did a good job with the Skin's O-Line. He has proved he is not a product of Denver's running scheme. Hopefully, the O-Line will get revamped, Jansen will be back to 100% and Portis destorys the record by Stephan Davis

Strangely, I believe our running game will have its most efficient performance of the year this week with Ladell getting most/all the carries. He seems to be the answer for this year's running woes. If we revamp the o-line in the offseason, Clinton will be more effective next year. In the meantime, Ladell is our stud. He'll show why against Minny.
