We are almost like detroit. Finding ways to beat ourselves.

Joe Gibbs must Get a better offensive playbook and stop using the playbook he got from MADDEN 2005.

Also stop running the freaking counter treys'....Please for Chris' sake.

i have seen this play book tear up the league... the plays work... but they only work with a good o-line... our sucks...

Gibbs' playbook/playcalling put up the second most points in league history... and that was in an era of running the ball... and the posse would torch teams deep... it is in the playbook... trust me....

the counter tre is a thing of beauty...

A thing of beauty when you have the RIGHT PERSONNEL.

So either get the right personnel or get another playbook.

you just proved my point... it isn't the play book... it is the players... does denny green's playbook suck now... ?

no... and neither does gibbs... the player in ARI suck and so do our current players... you could have great plays but the players have to execute...

if you have to believe that, thats cool. or you could say that niether has their head in the right place as of the present...
how many PI calls has gibbs gotten us at the 1 yd line, as other teams have gotten on us? zero.
not that i want another coach, i just want ours to open his fargin eyes to the deep pass.

i'm with you... i don't think gibbs walks on water... he has been pretty weak this year.. in game planning and playcalling... and a staple he used to be known for was halftime adjustments... i haven't seen that this year...

of course we need to open it up and have a little more creativity... i think this offseason gibbs won't be out on the road chasing free agents and assembling a staff.. he will be in the lab cooking up some plays.. he will use and copy what is successful in the league right now...

i hope so.
i think portis could actually RUN behind greens line in ARZ. and he isn't doing it here, and that says a lot.

i don't know what to make of portis... i really like the guy... but i can't put my finger on the problem.. he will have two nice carries in a row... and then go quiet...

i just don't know if it is him or the line... one thing i do know that he doesn't get many yards after contact... and that bugs the crap out of me... his RB coach Byner was the man... he always fell forward and always kept his feet moving... i hate having a running back by committee but i think we may need a true change of pace back... (betts isn't big enough to change pace imo)

its awful. portis is out with an "injured shoulder"? well., betts didn't exactly shoulder the load.

i still say its the line. boot em all. if other lines in the league can lose the leading rusher and insert a backup and have success, its obviosly the line. KC did it, BAL did it without jamal lewis, and freakin carolina did it with a freakin 6th string runner! the line sucks. and it starts with bugel.

This is becoming downright pathetic. I think Joe Gibbs was a phenomenal coach -- could still be today. But he's certianly not proving it. Our O-Line aren't the Hogs, not even the Miss Piggys if you ask me. They plain suck.

Our running game is weak. Portis may have 1200 yards -- but what to show for it? Nothing. A 5-10 season. That's worse than Spurrier's first showing. Now that's just bad.

We need to rethink our offense. Someone had mentioned a second decent RB to shore up our running game -- I'm all for that. Get two ground pounders and run it up the gut -- counter-tre and all.

Wow -- this is just totally woeful.

it truly is just plain awful that spuurier has scored more points than gibbs. i don't have anything else to say. at least spurrier beat dallass.

as for washington's running game...

it just appears, at times, that Gibbs decides before the game that the running game just won't work and he either doesn't use it often or he gives up on it too soon. I'm not the coach, obviously, but the Philadelphia game in DC was one where it appeared that he gave up too soon. I agree that the O-line is pathetic too though.
