Anyone working today? I had a conference call at 8:30 this morning... who schedule's calls on Christmas eve?

Of course, many old friends are in town as well so I went out last night -drinking -drinking -drinking - my head hurts :-)

I'm working but I won't complain. We are processing the remains of those killed by the suicide bomber in the mess tent earlier this week. Tomorrow we will process the 3 Marines killed in action yesterday. Please remember to say a prayer for those affected by this. We're all very fortunate to be able to be home with our loves ones this Christmas.

Working hard here ---... or is it Hardly working here??? :hmm:

Office is quiet, I think there's 2 other people on my floor! I'll be done soon (45 minutes more or so).

And DEHog -- as stated, my thoughts are with you as you go about your duty. Peace to you and all your colleagues. (And thanks for what you do.)

Happy Holidays to everyone here at theHogs.net! However you celebrate, be safe, eat well and surround yourself with loved ones!

Im at work now, the Brown Machine doesn't stop for holidays....sadly.

What can Brown do for you?

I'm working tonight, I have to oversee Santa's route across the world. I spent all year coordinating different stop points so Mr. Claus to refill his sliegh with toys, getting the right presents to the right rest points all over the globe and transfering the correct personel to the appropriate Claus centers around the world. People think that the elves have it hard making all the toys, heck they close down the factories and take a three month vacation starting in December. It's me and the Claus center elves that have it rough, travel to extreme environments, spending Christmas Eve packing sleighs in remote parts of the world... Some of these poor elves have to move out to Siberia, remote deser wastelands of Africa and other unfriendly climates to ensure that children all over get their toys. Lucky for me I'm part of Santa Claus' Non-Elf Division, I don't have to do the manual labor that the elves do, but I have to plot his trip every year... he's very eccentric, hasn't taken the same route twice in 1,000 years... Always afraid that someone will spot him if he goes the same way twice.

Anyway, thanks to some improves software I can work from homw now and don't need to keep making trips to the north pole to use their tiny computers that were built for elves... man, what a pain in the neck that was.

Well, I guess it's almost time to start, it's getting late in certain parts of the world.

Merry Christmas everyone!
