In the first round.Just what i think and by the way we will make the playoffs (hopefully). Our picks in the 2005 draft...
1st round
3rd round
4th round
6th round
7th round.
Hopefully our front office gets smarter and stop trading away our picks and make smart picks for the good of our team.
Unless we are being offered more picks and we do not really need it we trade, if not no deal.

Well last draft the Redskins traded the 2nd pick in this draft for the 3rd rounder we used to get Chris

ey... that seems like a smart trade to me.

When all is said and done we will most likely draft either David Pollack DE(6'2 260lbs) from Georgia or Erasmus James DE(6'4 260lbs)from Wisconin who could be our own top notch DE in the NFL.Most likely Tennesse will take Pollack before our pick but whichever off these 2 are available we MUST draft one of these DE.They both have natural motors that never stop and they are good run stuffers as well.
But this is the kicker, if Mike Williams does well in the upcoming scouting combine and he is available I say we take him instead.WR might not be a very big need now but you can never have a lot and he is a sure fire talent who is big 6'5 with good hands. The DE's in this draft are nearly all the same but you do not find too many good receivers.

Depending on how high our pick is, we might be able to trade down and pick up a DE like Marcus Spears out of LSU, as well as add depth to the O-line. just a thought.

I say we draft an offensive lineman in the first round... we do not need mike williams.... he is a really good player but we should pass on him....

some ppl even have Mathias Kiwanuka out of BC as the top rated DE in the draft so who knows. It's hard to speculate until we know where we're picking.

Marcus Spears is like 300lbs we should not draft him pleease no.The

ey draft day trade was a smart move right there. But if you look at their track record we have really made some dumb trades with our draft picks e.g. Mark Brunnell for our 3rd rounder last year.Only the trade for picks to get Lavar and Chris Samuel in 2000 was actually good.(No doubt thanks to New Orleans trading everything and the kitchen sink to get Ricky williams and see what happened to them).

Oh and for my

on the draft:
I think in the first round we should get one of those real good DE's that are out there, we are lucky to have one of our biggest needs be right there in front of us. Spears, Cody, and Roth are also draft possibilities.
In the 3rd round I think we should look to see what TE's are left. Maybe a guy like Adam Berger or a similar TE will emerge, if not we could wait a round and pick someone then. If no adaquate TE is available then I'd go for a center. Maybe Scott Mruczkowski, or Jason Brown.
Man, I can't wait for the draft

I hope we don't take Pollack. I've seen him several times this year and I'm just not that imprsesed, he seems like more hype that substance. He seems like the kind of guy whose game won't translate to the NFL. In college, he overcompensates for his lack of talent by working harder than everyone else. And while that's admirable, I don't think he'll be an excellent pass rusher in the NFL

Yeah, I think Roth is a better choice than Pollack.

If we draft David Pollack I will be very unhappy because I just think he is going to be a big bust in the NFL
I hope either Erasmus James or Mike Williams
James is the best Pass rusher in the Draft and I think he will be the best player for us to draft and he will compiment Griffin well

If any of you guys have ever seen a Boston College game, you sure as hell wouldnt be talking about Erasmus James or David Pollack. Mathias Kiwanuka is a Jevon Kearse/Dwight Freeney type end. Rather slender, extremely fast, but only average against the run. He's also 6-7 inches with the frame to gain an addition 2O+ pounds without losing quickness. He bats balls down at the line of scrimmage cause of his height and is a hardworking player. Pollack is a tough, blue collar type player, but will never be a premier pass rusher in the league. Maybe an Aaron Smith type AT BEST. James has had an underachieving college career until his senior season where he really emerged, but his upside is nowhere near Kiwanukas. We need to draft "Kiwi"

why not pick up john abraham in free agency, and take mike williams in the draft
