Redskins-Dolphins Predictions

I know the Dolphins have a decent defense which may give Ramsey fits by frequent blitzing; however, the Dolphins O-line is in trouble, too! Injuries have really hurt the Dolphins on the O-line and, don't look now, I think THIS will be the game Bruce gets the record!!!

If the Redskins front 7 can limit the Dolphins rushing attack (which I think they can), I don't think their passing game is good enough to hurt us. Consequently, I think the Redskins are going to beat this very "beatable" team.

Who cares about the sack record? Bruce has been a distraction most of the year. Enough of that-Skins stop Ricky and the Fins in their awful orange jerseys.

Anyway, you are right V Hog their line has been in trouble. I think LA will also have a sack or two. :D

Will we finally play a whole game?

Not likely, but Miami has nearly as anaemic an offense as the Skins do.

Spurrier WILL be trying to prove that he's the right 'play-caller' for this team though, so I look for a better mix of plays from the ole ballcoach.

Redskins 16,
Dolphins 13

... in another UGLY bowl.

As for Bruce... the moment he stops thinking about the record for 5 seconds, he'll probably get it.

Couldn't agree more with the Bruce comment, Boss. I would like to see him get the record and retire, however.

Hopefully our second win in prime-time this year!

ricky is running like crap. the fins offense just plain stinks. last team we played in this situation, was buffalo. they handed us our own ass.....they managed a bunch of offense against our "prevent" D. hopefully no one is taking this game lightly in the organization.......

I just don't see how you guys move the ball much against Miami. They get pretty creative with their blitz packages and have a great speed rusher in Taylor. The Redskins have either an injured QB or one who's only been with the team for a few weeks. Add the fact that Spurrier's reassuming the playcalling from Jackson and that equals a long day in my book.

The Dolphins' new orange jerseys will have the Redskins blinded for a half.

If Ramsey can't play, there's no need for a prediction.

Curveball,

It is funny how a puke fan is not seeing our offense move the ball against Miami. Better start diagnosing your offense. Look at your offense or lack there of:

Tampa and NE 0 points
Washington 21 points
Buffalo 3 points, Bledsoe fumble was responsible for the other six

If it wasn't for your defense, you would be 2-8 (Detroit and Arizona) If the Redskins running game was averaging 4 or five yards per carry what do you think Davis is going to do to your small defense? And please do not respond with Roy Williams because Davis is 240 pounds and he will be delivering the "love taps". Those little linebackers are going to be tired in the forth quarter!!!

If you want to talk smack, I'm always more than willing, but let's do it in the smack forum.

I gave an honest prediction with no "flame" bait involved.

Besides, I probably understand how pathetic the Cowboys offense is better than most Redskin fans.

Curve,

I know quite a bit about the boys since I am not too far from valley ranch. I was not talking smack, just stating your team has greater offensive issues than Washington.

I am sorry if I offended you but everytime time I turn on a radio I have to listen to Cooperstein, Galloway, and that idiot a$$ N. Scrugs talk about how Dallas is great again. All I want is for this utopia state that Parcells created to come back to earth. The cowboys are not that good but they are not a 5-11 team either. They have some good talent but you guys need some oline help. It seems like the only one who knows this around Big D is Big Bill!!!!

Gardner spends all day reading our comments in the "hogwash" section, and has a break-out day against Miami just to prove us all wrong.

Well like all things Redskin right now, there's not a lot of accountability. Here's a concept... if Gardner drops a pass badly... bench him... and I don't mean drop him down one in the pecking order. We have Jacobs, McCants and even Russell floating around... what the heck did we keep 6 WRs for if we weren't going to use them even when given a reason to? Bench Gardner, and move everyone up one... maybe for a week... maybe more.

Maybe then he'll find the ability to concentrate a little harder.

As for my prediction...

Fins 24, Skins 13

Jason Taylor + Redskins protection woes = trouble

Ricky Williams + redskins run defense = bigger trouble

I think I have officially stooped to a new low by actually not picking my Redskins. Please don't tell anyone.
