If the redskins want to have a bright future, i think we need to stop giving up picks for older players who don't have more than 1 or 2 years left in the tank. in brunell's situation, he had absolutely nothing left

As of today, with one game to go, we will draft no higher than the 3rd pick and no lower than the 12th...

I hope that we're able to draft either Mike Williams or Braylon Edwards. We could definately use another WR.

why we can't get the ball to the ones we already have?

Well outside of Coles none of them seem to be able to get open or catch the ball consistantly

I don't think it's that they're not getting open. I think that their not being found or thrown the ball.

A lot of it may have to do with the play-calling or the poor OL play....or maybe it's a combination of poor QB play and poor OL play.

That would be great............Then we can have to WRs on the inactive list every week

I dont think we should take a WR. In my mind we need more LINEMEN. Let's take a DL, I've heard the names Erasmus James, Shaun Cody, Travis Johnson, Orien Harris all thrown around in here. There are some good DL coming out this year and I'd love to see the Redskins get one.

In free agency I think we need to target DL as well and some interior OL. I also want a kicker and a kick return man. I don't like what we have there at all. Theoretically, let's say we draft Orien Harris, a DT with big potential from Miami, althought I'm not sure if he's coming out. And let's say we sign Darren Howard, a solid pass rusher from the Saints who appears to be headed for free agency. This could be our D next year:

DE- Howard
DT- Griffin
DT- Harris
DE- Wynn/Daniels
OLB- Arrington
MLB- Pierce
OLB- Washington
CB- Springs
CB- Smoot
FS- Taylor
SS- Bowen/Lott/Clark

With Gregg Williams calling the shots that would be the #1 Defense in the NFL.

The offense is another story.... I just dont know what to do there aside from adding interior offensive linemen...

I would'nt touch the defense at all. We've had this great defense all year but if we don't have atleast an ok offense then we can't do anything. We need to pick up an o'lineman. The best think would be for us to trade down. Regardless of our position.

I think the D-line has to take priority....mainly DE. The interior did well this year. We definately need a Center.

As far as the receiver goes....we need a true tight end. This one specifically.....

Name College Ht Wt Yr G Rec
Heath Miller Virginia 6-5 254 Jr 11 475

Heath Miller is gonna be a solid pro but we have much bigger needs than a TE. We need to get better and deeper along both lines and using a top 10 pick on a receiving TE just doesnt make sense for our team.
