Skins should be in the Playoffs right now!

It kills me to see that all of these damn teams in the already week NFC are in the playoffs or in serious contention, and we are on the outside looking in. Our squad is so much better than most of those teams. Offense has great weapons and the Defense will finish No. 1!! So how could we be so far out of it? I'll tell you. Keeping Brunell in was the biggest mistake of the season. We should not have lost to the Giants, Browns (only manages 17 yard of total offense in one game!), Bengals, Cowboys. That is 4 wins, that makes us 9-5, and puts us in as a wild card! You take a break here and there and beat the Eagles here and beat Baltimore earlier, you never know. We wouldn't have to cross our fingers and pray that a whole bunch of nonsense happens for us to make the playoffs cause we won't! It's too late now! Ramsey is a big upgrade over Brunell and evrryone knew it. If he was in there earlier enough to buid up confidence, you never know what would have happened in the Philly blowout loss and the Green Bay loss and the Pittsburgh loss. CRAZY!!

Actually SA#1, it's not that hopeless. If this happens this weekend:
1. The Rams lose to Philly
2. The Giants lose to Cincy
3. The Saints lose to Atlanta
4. The Panthers lose to Tampa Bay
we will control our own destiny. All four of those contests could easily go our way. Of course, all of this is moot, if the 'Skins don't win out.

Speaking of the Pitt loss, how the heck do you give Ramsey his first start of the season against Pittsburgh?!???

Mind you, all of those things are possible.
1. Philly even without Owens should spank the Rams.
2. Cincy beat us, we beat the Giants, the Giants almost beat Pitt like we did, so Cincy should be the Giants.
3. The Saints always find a way to lose.
4. Tampa will beat the dissimated Cats.
We must win out and its very possible!

Not to mention the nfl admitted the bad calls in the first Dallas game and the second Philly game. Plus the bad calls in the Green Bay game and the Giants game. That's 2-4 wins right there. I'm sick of the consistant bad calls against the skins. Its single handedly stopped us from being a playoff team this year.

Actually, he did.
After replacing Mark Brunell for his 17th NFL start, Ramsey adhered to Coach Joe Gibbs's instructions: Don't try to be a hero against Philadelphia's aggressive defense, and once in a while you'll get to throw a deep pass.

it drives me insane too that all these crappy teams are ahead of us in the playoffs. we've had 3 games stolen by the refs, we should be 8-6 and in control for a wild-card spot. there a lot of crappy, crappy teams ahead of us, even teams that we've beaten!
if we were in the playoffs, we would at least be very competitive, with our stellar D. a couple of the teams that get in ahead of us will probably get spanked.

On ESPN Radio today they were asking what scares you about your team in the playoffs. An Eagles fan called in and said the Redskins =)
He said he's extremely scared of seeing that defense in January lmao.
It was classic....
I wish our real record matched the record we should have as well, but you know what? It doesn't. The route we are taking was meant to be, so just accept it. This team is going to the playoffs next season, so cherish that thought. If we pull off the upset and make the playoffs THIS season, anything can happen. Nobody will want to play the Skins in the playoffs....
Imagine this defense in this years playoffs with Lavar back. Now that would be fun to watch lol.

all the more incentive to take it to the cowpies this weekend. all the other help will still be needed, but if the 'Skins don't take care of Dallas this weekend, it won't matter at all.
