Dolphins sign WR

Unhappy with their present WR corps (which includes former Redskin Derrius Thompson), Miami re-signed Oronde Gadsden to a contract today.

Gadsden has been out since dislocating his left foot in training camp in early August. Under terms of an injury settlement he and the team reached in September, he could not re-sign with the Dolphins before last week.

The Dolphins gave Gadsden a one-year contract because his replacement, Derrius Thompson, has totaled just 15 receptions with no touchdowns in 10 games. Miami ranks 27th among 32 NFL teams in yard passing.

Norv Turner always made decent receivers look bad in Washington. Why not Miami?

Derrius has always been a 'good project' that has never really lived up to his 'possibilities'.

Seriously, if he couldn't crack the Skins WR corps when he was here (which was dismal), then he's 'fringe' material at best.

I always really liked him though, and hoped he'd catch on and play well with the Fins.
