Passing deep inside 3 minutes up 16?? Is that killer instinct or poor sportsmanship??

We played our hearts out. Kudos to the better team tonight.
We have two weeks to get ready for TTIT. We're 6-3, good for second in the division. This game hurts us only in tiebreakers if we beat the next one.
Oh, and I guess McCain's concession speech is coming at 1:00am. :)

The Cowpukes aren't relevant in this.

Get the playoffs.

The season is not over. We have struggled for a few weeks. The bye will be good for us.

Chalk this loss to the line. They did not protect Campbell. He did not have time to make his reads.

I don't think better play calling, better execution or anything else would have stopped what happened tonight.

They stopped the run, got ahead, forced the Redskins into passing mode, then turned the dogs loose.

What is the anectdote for QB pressure.....Screen passes. That was only used once and it worked. What happened.

The result of any one game (unless there is a significant season-ending injury a la Tom Brady) does not influence the remainder of the season. The 'Skins are in line for a playoff berth and have the division at home after the bye. This season still has the potential to be a great one.

I agree, but the offense has to perform better than it has for the last month, and Philly and the Giants will bring massive pressure like Pittsburgh did tonight.

This is b/c our passing game was barely enough with the excellent running game. Shut down the run, you beat the skins. Name 1 game that the skins dominated through the air this year. IT's been fine as long as they HAVEN'T shut down the run, but this week, we see what happens when they do.

My God... this is the toughest Defense in the league, and their strangth is against the run. As soon as they had the lead, this was going to happen. The key was the long pass interference play that led to the first touchdown. That changed the game, and allowed the Pittsburgh D to crank it up. Against any other team, you could persist in trying to make the run work... not here.

This is not the Cleveland or Detroit Defense, these guys are polished.

this is where our rookie HC shows his flaws because he's a rookie. still love Zorn, but he's definitely got a thing or two to learn still...

The hell they're not. It could very well come down to us and them for the last spot.

They completed a second one and PIT had a defender lying in wait.

What can you do?

If we can go 4-3 down the stretch, we'll be 10-6 and should be in the playoffs

PUt Cp on the sidelines. We don't need to loose him for weeks b/c we just want to score again. This is just stupid.

Portis is still putting up good numbers. Total yardage: 124 yards (73 receiving)

Hand has to be INSIDE the pads to be horse collar. He coulda had a handful of jersey. With the ref ~2 yards away, I trust his vision.

Of course, but this team has the talent and the time to make the necessary adjustments. This game will serve as a valuable learning experience for the Zorn/Campbell collaboration.
