Sadly, the way the league has been restructured to ensure "parity" (for those who are challenged with pronunciation, it sounds like "parody", and means about the same thing. ) you can't give a young QB three years to come along. It's win now, because you can't keep all of your best guys for more than that unless they all volunteer to work for job-rate.
Eli, Patches, Big Ben and Drew would all benefit if there were a three-year program.
