The Bears fail again. How about the Redskin's defense? How long can they hold on by themselves? Grrrr.
This has to be a sustained drive.

Man, Bugel needs to do something. This is getting ridiculous.

The OLis not holding together at all.
Our offensive scheme relies on a good OL, which we do not have.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

All it's gonna take is ONE good drive and we can lose this one...I'm gonna be sick. Our defense can only do so much

Bears announcers make the point that Raymer was crushed last week, same this week. R Thomas shaky. "Without Jansen, they [OL] are average".

It does look like more of the same ol' same ol'. A TD by either team probably wins the game the way things are going.

Wish we would try that quick pitch that we tried once earlier in the game. That seemed to work well.

Heh, speak of the devil.
I guess he has been saving it for the right situation.

Come on, Redskins! We've really gotta finish on this drive to make sure we've got a handle on the game.
Portis has been playing very well from what I can hear / read about. Sounds to me like the offensive system is just that much closer to clicking.

We need a TD a FG will not do!

Brunell just made a desperate run , diving out of bounds as soon as he saw Urlacher charging at him. Ahaha, that was too funny. It was a nice play though.

Well, I guess we'll just have to settle for 3. If our D can just get another 3 and out, then maybe our offense can grind out more yards and eat some major clock time. This could turn into a solid win for Gibbs, and give us some great confidence going into the bye week.

I'm thinking that Brunell running is better than Brunell trying to throw

yeah, then on 3rd he runs out of bounds instead of going for the 1st down. All right!!!! 6 point lead....
brunell is getting older by the minute.

We're running well but not as well as the statistics would indicate. Portis is getting big chunks at a time when there is a hole but we're also getting stuffed for no gain a lot. We're not dominating enough to run it down their throat just yet b/c we seem to struggle with the short yardage stuff still. The outside stuff is working well and when Portis cuts back it works well.

"9 play 73 yard drive"
Not a TD, which would have finished the Bears, but 3 more points.
