the win loss record is not as important to me as it is to others - I'm hoping we get consistently good performances out of our coaches and players, that's all
the wins will come when we have the quality depth we need
I understand what you're saying. I was disappointed by the loss to the Eagles, but it was still a good game against a quality team. The defense looked bad in the first half, but they made adjustments at halftime and gave us a chance to win in the second. Players looked like they were busting their *** to win that game. They were fighting for each other, and I appreciate that.
I always want to win, but from where we were last year I can watch a game like that and still feel positive about the team.
The loss v. the Giants was just such a 180. I totally understand fans watching that game and thinking: "More of the same old same old." I know that's what I've been thinking. 45-14 in a prime time game in front of YOUR fans. That's worse than unacceptable.
I can accept that we might not win on Monday night v. the Seahawks. We're the underdogs, they're the Super Bowl champs. But if we're going to lose, I want to see the team go down fighting and coaches pulling out every trick in the book. Don't embarrass us.
