And they DID win Monday night and last night. Stanley Cup. Forget the past seasons. Forget that first year. Forget 4 OT loss to the Islanders in 1987. Forget all the losses to Pittsburgh. This is now and wow! ALLCAPS.

Haven't been on in a while, super cissed when we won.

I was at Looney's up Fulton/Maple Lawn and it was jam-packed for the game. Of course everyone in there went crazy when time was up.
Went down to the parade also, made it to 7th and Constitution and watched the buses pass by. Crowd went nuts when we saw Ovie and the cup.

Everything at the parade was awesome.. we celebrated a championship in our city, not destroyed our city

Just relieved that a year of ignoring the Caps until the last game paid off.

I almost forgot to post my congrats to all Caps fans. Great series. Glad that the Caps can say that they have a Stanley Cup winning team. As a fan of a different team. I am glad that if the Stars didn't win. The Caps did.
