Rick Maese So, by my count, if Artis Hicks is off the roster, Redskins are at 53 (with Moore PUP and Buchanon suspended). So that could be it for today

If Rick is right then no more cuts are needed for today.

That reinforces the feeling that this year's draft was the best in a long, long time. Lots of picks, lots of keepers. Very happy that Banks is in. I guess he's filling the 3rd QB spot. Should provide a lot more benefit for the team than one would ever expect from a #3 QB or #5-6-7 reciever. Thank god we finally have a quality FO.

Not necessarily. Several years back, all 10 picks made the roster. Only Davis, Jackson & Moore are still on the team.

Still FEELS better. We seem to have much better depth, and the players appear to fit the system. Happy but surprised to see Nield make the 53. Looks the part, and has the heart, but I expected him to be PS to season him a bit. Also pleasantly surprised Stallworth made it. I think he will be a big time playmaker for us this year. He is surprisingly fast, yet versatile, with very good ball skills. Bring on the Gnats. I can't wait for the season to start.

I am glad Neild made it because he looks like a neanderthal and so do I so we have to stick together.

I dont expect to this to be the final 53 when all is said and done.. There is going to be alot of player movement once all teams have made their cuts..

unfortunately some of the young guys who were informed they have made the final 53 still have a couple more days to sweat it out

Yep, we have 8 receivers. I can't see that being the case on game day.
