Durant Brooks sucks........!!!

I'll try to get some screenshots but it's very hard to see the laces. Brooks is casting a shadow over the ball but it appears that if the ball was a clock facing Brooks...., the laces were at 7 o'clock. I'm guessing because I can kinda see a reflection that I would only assume would be the white laces.

What quarter is the fumble in?

Per NFL.com, the credit for the forced fumble was given to Rocky, I think we can trust that

Who am I going to believe, NFL.com or my lying eyes? I linked to the video of the play in the other thread, and even though it is a poor angle and pretty far away you can still see that Rocky hits him in the back a split second after Reed hits him in the bread basket. Reed got his helmet on the ball, which is what caused the fumble, so no, I don't think the stats are accurate. I was hoping CLL could watch the replay and settle the matter once and for all. Also wanted confirmation on the laces just for you, Fios.

What's your point? I just gave you Frost's stats for the Skins in a previous post. He routinely was at the bottom of the league in Yds/punt and Net Average. We just traded talent for a guy who was given a chance and didn't or couldn't take it.

And of course, there was that one incident in Indy when he took off his helmet giving us a 15 yd penalty when we were starting to come back. If you want my opinion, he should have been cut then.

By the way, when was the last really good Redskin punter?

Tom Tupa?
Bryan Barker?
Craig Jarrett?
Tommy Barnhardt?
Brian Hansen?

None of these guys are exactly Ray Guy. The only two guys who qualified as good punters were Matt Turk and, my personal favorite, Reggie Roby (who used to wear a watch when he punted)...and we ran Turk and his brother out of town after the missed snap and hold in the playoff game.

Face it, the Skins is wear old punters and kickers come to die. At least we're taking a chance on a younger guy with some potential.

I didn't click on the link, because you provided the list. I apologize for jumping to the conclusion that you had left the final two off, rather than FOX. But I still say his average numbers are down because he had a bad first two weeks. I think that roughing penalty hit he took in the G-strings game rattled him a bit. He's gotten it out of his head now, and should be back to the kicker we saw in the pre-season. He still needs work on his holding, though.

Brooks had a very good game today. Compare his stats today with the previous few games, and then compare today's game with Frost's game in Green Bay. That was the 1 o'clock game where I was, and Frost was struggling.

Glad to see Brooks pulling it together. And no mishandling on field goals!
