Too bad the real #6 seed team didn't beat the real #1 seed team
They probably didn't steal home field advantage like I accidentally did, though. . . .sorry RiC (and Red)
Congratulations to FFA. Well deserved win.
I am so depressed about the Skins loss that I have not tried too hard to come back to the site. But I am also way too far this week to even try. Good luck guys!
I am VERY sad for Tony Dungy too.
Overall, a "Black Weekend"

I knew you had it in your heart to be more of a cheerleader than a player!
I remain impartial in this competition. And I have no excuses for coming up with all four predictions wrong. I still think that all four teams that lost could win if they had to play again next Sunday. I would not change my picks.
I feel very bad for our team and fans. I am not over the loss by far yet. It will take a while to get out of this depression.
But I am having a REAL difficulty to understand what was Plan B when EVERYBODY (including Vic Carucci at nfl.com) knew in advance the game plan put up by Holmgren against us.
Injuries caught up with our team. But I still feel we could have won that game with a different offensive game plan. Being mostly one-dimensional with the run at the beginning and changing to a mostly one-dimensional with the pass and shot-gun later on made it just too easy for them.
I am depressed so forgive me but the problem with this loss is that IMHO the chances of Art Monk to go into the HOF this year are not great now. We needed at least to go to the NFC Championsip if not the Superbowl.
I hope I am wrong, very wrong!

Here it is, pretty late Friday afternoon, and still no one in the competition has yet made their picks. I will go ahead and pick the teams, and update the scores later. I know we are all down about the 'Skins loss, but there is only two more sets of picks to be made.
Denver 42
Carolina 50
Deal with that FFA!

I'm taking Denver and Carolina as well.
Do we need to declare points?

The scores of the four division finalists are:
FanfromAnnapolis (07 – 03 )
JSPB22 (04 – 06 )
Texas Hog (04 - 06 )
joebagadonuts (03 – 07 )
I say some of us should better stick to our current jobs.

Actually, 03 - 07 is an accurate score because we are adding the Wild Card round to the playoff rounds.
Look at the scores in "the other" thread.

Why hasn't this page been updated by the HB-I Administrator?? Still lickin' his wounds???
(I forgot to submit picks in both threads this week. I would have picked PIT & CAR. Not that that matters anymore.)
BTW - My early SB pick: SEAHAWKS: 51 POINTS!!!

Oh, right. I forgot I submitted picks in that thread. Thanks. That means my average jumps from .167 to a whopping .300! Woo hoo! I'm sending my resume to Sports Illustrated as we speak....

Some may not appreciate it but it does take a bit of work and time to prepare and keep these threads. We all have a thousand things to do and we do these things between several breaks.
Him licking his wounds?

As if you were in a position to say so.

Not as long as you and I have had to do so. He advanced to later rounds than you and I did.

You are certainly keeping a BETTER record than most of them. But then again THAT is your undoing. You would have to have a WORSE record to be acceptable to them.

OK, while I am still out of the country, (I left last Saturday, before the games, Redeemed), I am now on an American keyboard with free internet access. I believe it is FFA Vs. joebagofdonuts in HB-1. Get your picks in, and good luck.
On a personal note, go Seahawks... But as a Hognosticator, I have to go with Pittsburgh, 48.

I'm stickin'with the Sqwaks to catch the Steelers by surprise and win their first-ever SB.
In HB-I, I pick FFA to handle Joe in the final head-to-head matchup. FFA!!! FFA!!! FFA!!!!

Chances are I'll be out sick all week, so I'll put my pick in now:
Steelers, 44 total points.
FFA, good luck.
