They haven't done me any favors. Unless they change the design, I won't be participating in any of the "official" discussions. I just cannot read that site.

Also, I worry that such a close relationship with one fan site will necessarily leave the other sites out in the cold. The staff here provides great coverage with what access they have now, and I'd hate to see that cut off, officially or otherwise.

Other than that, I could give a crap about this announcement.

I don't know where the notion that mods or staff will take out an unlikable poster comes from. . .everything that's done within the rules here is tolerated.


Personally, I don't understand the criticism that we have too many staff members (and keep in mind that I'm not one of them). Our staff members write articles, do a lot of research and reporting, and maintain the website while living full lives complete with jobs, wives, and children.


All of this ES news creates too much typing. If it isn't hating (which there really has been very little of), it's all kind of talk about how we need to refrain from hating, how we're all one family, etc. It's out of hand.


So, if I haven't said it yet: Congrats to ES--keep the B&G loving happening.

Sounds to me like ES had good reason to ban you. And it sounds like you want to be banned from here as well.

That's not hating. There are two examples listed in this thread of ES members hating on THN, but it's really not important.

This thread wasn't started to bash ES. I couldn't view the info at work and needed someone to tell me what was happening.

Ive been at this site for quite some time and I cant remeber a distinctive thread about ES. Ive read comments from individuals about what they favor but nothing like an entire thread talking down about their site.

Of course I love my home site and would have loved to see the people who I feel put a lot into the Redskins get some recognition also. I've met them in person and heard their stories of how hard it is to keep this going and I wish them even more success than what they've already gotten. If that translates into jealousy than maybe I am a bit jealous.

Congratulations to ES and their crew, I wish them well.
