If I were Ramsey I'd not say a word. He's got to be upset.

Folks, this QB controversy will continue all season long until someone steps up and starts putting some points on the scoreboard. Does it matter which QB does it? No. But, we can't rely on the "D" all year long.

I will if Ramsey starts next week. Brunell is a great backup.

I don't care who is in there as long as we win.
Right now I think Brunell gives us the best chance but thats just my

the entire offense seems to work when boonell is in. when ramsey is there, its just a different situation.

I honestly don't see this so I guess we differ here. Certainly not last year (Brunell should have been yanked FAR FAR earlier than he was), and so far not this year. I'm just not that excited about 9 points. I was livid at the pass to the one yard line into the dirt. You might as well just throw it away, or better yet, use your supposed speed if nothing is there. Ramsey really started looking like he was rockin before having his head jerked.

I felt great about Redskins prospects this season until I learned from your posts on this site that Gibbs is actually thinking of going back to Brunell. If he's slipped that much, our season's going to be hell. Mark my words.
I had a college coach once who attributed a running back's success to how a quarterback handed the ball off. I regard the condition an early warning sign of alzheimer's, especially if the QB is perceived as a solid performer when he's actually mistake prone and a better passer's on the bench.
The QB of my acquaintance who was benched by our doofus coach later played for the Steelers.

You knew Bradshaw??
VERYCool!!
Anyways, in fairness Gibbs was completely non-committal. I would have preferred he said Ramsey is the guy barring injury though.

all i can say is i don't like either of the first two. campell should be in by the end of the season. brunell doesn't make mistakes. but, gibbs WON'T put up with patches throwing int's. and again it is a team game. most of the plays have the qb move to one side or the other just a bit, and ramsey isn't doing that either. and it shows as a whole.

Every time I see Troy Aikman...he's wearing burgundy ties..
I think LaVar hit him soooo hard...he became a Skins fan!
ps..I know this had nothing to do with the game...I just didnt want to start a new thread over this..

Did we use the play action pass against the Bears? I can't recall seeing it called at all.
In fact, on passing plays they often moved Portis up parallel to Ramsey/Brunell to pick up the block. Makes our O really predictable. I'm having a real problem with this as I think it through. Maybe I missed it..and I know you all will set me straight if I did..but why in the world would we not use the play action pass?
