Chris Luva Luva wrote:Well, that's the game. I blame Mike and Rex. Mike for not making the switch earlier. Disgusting. 4 interceptions. I would have pulled him at 2.

I blame Kyle (giving up on the run in the first quarter) Shanahan (not pulling the obviously incompetent Grossman at the half) Grossman (Come on, man), and the NFL, for injecting the referees into the game. That ludicrous roughing penalty at the one changed momentum.

Two keys to this game:

#1 - Unable to rush against the NFL's statistically worst D against the run,

#2 - Rex, Rex, Rex, Rex. Lets see, that's 4X that matches his INT numbers.

I'm so disappointed right now.

Rex cost us that one. 1-2 in the division now... that's not good.

Eagles get back on track against us.... here come the media driders. smmfh.

This made me smile a bit.

RT: "@chaddukes With Beck at the helm, I think the #Redskins are the real winners today. Less INT's, less arrogance in our future. Division is up for grabs."

#1. Disagree... we gave up the run after 2 posessions that were 3 and outs, not because of the run, but because of playcalling.

#2... Hell yeah.

Not enough time to turn it around. The D held in the second half and the offense had a nice drive at the end. I'd love to see what Beck can do with a week of reps and 4 quarters of football, but I'm not holding my breath.

#1 - Either way, they abandoned the run. Either because it appeared that they couldn't run, or Kyle thought they cpouldn't run and abandoned the run.

It's clear that the offense is more effective with a qb that can move around in the pocket.

Even when the run is working, Kyle eventually abandons the run. It's pre-ordained.

Well, of course, you know that he thinks that he is a passing offense guru.

Rex Grossman had a 23.7 QB Rating today.
