Wonder if Dad also taught him to read.

Vollmer was picked by the Patriots in either the 2nd or 3rd round. You may have an eye for sleepers, though, as Belichek picked him up early.

Crap.

no, I don't have an eye for anything, just thought it would be cool if we drafted an offensive lineman. bahhh

How is scalping tickets a character issue? Personally I don't think it's a big deal at all and I was relieved when it turned out THAT was the issue rather than something serious.

Someone is willing to pay you more than face value that's the free market, it shouldn't even be a crime.

as I continue to participate in this exercise of futility that is rooting for us to take an O-lineman, I notice that Cadogan is still available and we're only 5 picks away!

how bout this tiny speed back with one of our 7th's...

You only get what you put into the educational system. Students have to do the work, it's not the schools fault everyone isn't brilliant.

My Wife is an educator and I am an active participant in her school. If a child is able to advance through elementary education without knowing how to ready, someone failed him. You can't give an 8 year old a hard time because he was not confident enough to step up and speak up. Keep in mind the times when he grew up vs today. There were some racial issues he was probably dealing with too.

After observing this forum for the past 5-6 years... I think its evident that "the education system failed " has failed a lot more than its helped... :nana:

i must say i am alittle stumped by the last pick... but what do i know... im a product of the public schools...

Here we go. Wonder if we trade down. Don't think there is much desire for players here.

Okay now it becomes frustrating that we still haven't gone offense....This will certainly improve competition at OLB for that starting spot...I wonder if Blades earns it
