washington needs to get better scouts, if you think about it, we havent drafted anyone special in a long long time

I think we should start with a real GM...

just once, i'd like to see joe show some true emotion in the postgame conference. it would be fantastic to see him truly upset at the game and not offer excuses for his team and take the blame. at some point, even the coach needs to put the blame on the players, otherwise they get complacent and THINK they are doing their job. these are professional athletes, put some on their shoulders.
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.

One of the reporters should ask this question.

Gibbs: "You're gonna seriuosly stand up here and say that Mark Brunell played well?"
Are you kidding me??

What are you seriuosly thinking?

You gotta put someone else in there.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

I'll give it to you "Marks problems seem to mirror the team, we are struggling"..."he's super smart"..."why do we have to play 3 games against teams coming off bye weeks?"..."we're going to have to coach better to put our players in the right position to make plays".....bla bla bla

What would Brunnel's passing yards be without that long throw to Lloyd?

I agree with this 100 percent. Beathard picked Gibbs, back when he could coach.

Our coaches find it much easier when the only players we get are already trained. But it absolutely kills the franchise because we trade away our youth to get them.

But Snyder's ego is a big problem.

And Gibbs still has YEARS on his contract - and he appears to have gotten stuck on 'STUPID' with this incomrehensible attachment to Brunell.

Depressing.

Said by who, Gibbs the same guy who last year said Ramsey was going to take us all the way......

Thats a good point. I have said before that Gibbs is so untruthful to the fans and media. He has more loyalty to MB than to the fans that adored him for so long. Well the revolution has begun. Make the QB change or leave town. Go back to Charlotte and work on engines.

I agreee we need to see major changes on the field, if the coach can't do that, he needs to to take a look at himself and decide if the game has indeed passed him by.[/quote]

Can Arch play quarterback?

Serious folks, I've also had it with Gibbs. The guy apparently has no clue as to what he's done with MB. It's worse than the insanity of Spurrier in re to Danny Awful.

Today was so painful I'm not sure I'm going to keep on watching. The guy
is totally wasting his assets and everyone in the league knows it.

Gibbs sounds like he is going to cry...btw, he really does say more or less the same thing each week..

wouldnt that be depressing if Campbell was named starter and we went like 7-0 and he passed for like 400 yards a game and had like 30 TD's but we miss the playoffs by like 1 game because of Brunell's crappy 1/2 of a season?

I was thinking the same thing. I doubt we'll see JC before the 2nd week of December, though.

I think Gibbs would be embarassed if Campbell did well. That might be why he won't play him. That may seem extreme, but I'm sure its why he didn't play Ramsey in the playoffs last year.

His fanatical support of Brunnel is bordering phsychotic. Can't wait to here what he has to say at the press conf.

The heck of it is that we should be 2 and 7 rather than 3 and 6. We've been lucky.

I would be suprised, to say the least, if Bunnel were benched.

Joe Jacoby and his cohost just said that they'd be suprised if Brunnel were benshed due to the fact that the Skins are not eliminated from the playoffs at this time.

Hey, Joe, you're looking like Steve Spurrier.

edited you. gibbs isnt the problem, Brunell is.

Have we hit bottom yet?

Can someone, anyone put forth any sane reason whatsoever that Mark Brunell is still QB'ing this team?

I think Gibbs has lost his marbles. Maybe he'll say in the post-game 'we're only 6 weeks from a record' and set everyone to scratiching their heads again.

Ok Old-timer. Almost to the dark side. I can turn you man.

IF BRUNELL PLAYS ANYMORE THIS SEASON HE AND BRUNELL MUST GO!!!

If I were Danny, I would tell Gibbs about Brunell what he told Spurrier about Danny Awful. If Gibbs resigned-- fine. I would also see if Campbell can play and if he can't play try to get Ramsey back cheap or go after Leftwich, maybe both.
