The o-line has actually played decently well the first half, IMO. After all, there were only a few plays where Brunell was really pressured, and he created some of that himself (a la running right at a 'blocking' Duckett)

AMEN, brother!
Yeah, it seems like we're struggling with our identity again.

SOME Chris, SOME! GO back and read this thread and tell me it's not fairweather fans in action??
We can discuss without complaining. I'm not saying they look perfect. Far from it. But I believei n my team. I believe they are going to get better and I will be saying so until the last seconds tick off of that clock. If you're not the same way then you are not a die hard fan. Plain and simple.

What is there for them to cheer about? I ride the bandwagon hard but some of the complaining is warranted.
I agree....having played ball in college, I would hope that my teammates and my fans would be honest with me when we were performing badly. I am still a fan, but if they are underperforming, as a fan I am going to critique.

Pathetic is what us fans have watched since training camp began, Im sorry for being an ass from time to time, but i faithfully follow this team and put money into Danny's pocket, im sorry but i feel ive earned the right to bitch a little bit.

i think the d is just gonna have to step it up another level, this offense has potential but its gonna take a bit to click, and i dont think we will get a miracle like last year tonight, its just gonna take some work and time. and... d has to give the spark like theyve done in the past

Okay, I finally have a few minutes to sit at my PC...so I can't read all of the previous posts before posting this.
Here are my half-time observations.
1. Brunell's throws are stinking up the joint.
2. Redskins offensive line is not giving sufficient pass protection, nor are they opening up large enough holes for the run.
3. Why isnt' Santana Moss into the game at all? To win, we need him!
4. Why wasn't Ducket used on that 3rd and 1 in the 1st series. Someone please tell me why we signed this guy . . . if we won't use him there!
5. Redskins are giving up too many 3rd down conversions or, even worse, committing stupid penalties on 3rd down.
6. Speaking of penalites, there are way way too many penalties on the Redskins this game!
7. The defense is bending too much. They're not giving up the big play but too many penalties on defense are giving the Cowboys great field position. I really hope this defense gets more aggressive in the 2nd half!
8. I loved that hit that Taylor layed on T.O..
To win this game:
1. Skins need to get Santana Moss involved in the game;
2. The defense needs to get more aggressive and stop committing so many penalties.
3. Brunell needs to stop throwing like McNabb (at the feet) and start getting better placement on his passes.
4. We also need to get

ey into the game.
At least Rock's return is keeping it close. The Cowboys should be blowing the Skins out on the scoreboard right now. The fact that they are not is making me optimistic.
We'll see.

Cheering for our team doesn't put blinders on me. I am a realist, and am watching a poor offense....as is the rest of this country. Nothing like looking awful 2 weeks in a row ....PRIMETIME.

It will take time for the Offense to gel a bit ... I'm mroe disappointed in our D right now. Not sure why we're not playing as well as last year.

Fairweather fans don't register and participate on a Redskins message board. Redskins fans don't stick around to complain about their team, they flip the channel to Law and Order.
There are plenty of pessimistic fans here, but none are fairweather.
And the idea that you can't complain about your team and be a diehard fan is beyond stupid.

I think its Brunell. Not that he needs to be benched but he's thrown 2 balls in the dirt. One of them was 3rd down conversion.

Whew! Big play averted.
But that still doesn't forgive the 3-4 absurdly missed tackles.
