I dont blame him. He shouldnt even be here to be blamed. I blame the coaches for keeping him.

Can we now get rid of the all white atleast

Our offense looked good at times...I think Al will make it even better. Our redzone offense looked bad...it cost us the game.

I'm very disappointed in our high priced Free agents...Adam A, Andre C and Brandon Lloyd. Only A.R. El looked good though.

That's what I said by the second game of preseason. Looks like they've got losing pretty well worked out.

I knew I'd heard/read it somewhere recently!

Damn Brunell only had 163 yards. This aint no grade A defense we were facing either. Something just ain't right with this offense it it has been like that for the past 3 years.

Regardless.. it came down to a very makeable 48 yard kick and Hall didn't get it done. He's not the reason we lost, but he just contributed his share to it.

If it comes down to hoping your kicker makes a 48 yarder with 15 seconds on the clock, you deserve to lose.

Did you not see the pass rush, their front four is one of the best in the league.

Stop blaming the zebras.

You look like a bunch of whiners.

The Redskins deserve the blame for this loss. The offensive line looked terrible, we had one sack on the slowest QB in the league, our guys were manhandled in the trenches...

And John Hall, the guy the Redskins paid big bucks for, booted the FG opportunity.

Sure, if you need extra points or FG's under 30 yards... John Hall is your man.

You need a kicker who cannot be shaken? A guy with icewater in his veins, a guy who could kick a ball so hard they have to put up two nets to knock it down... (You know, the guy the Redskins thought they were getting) then look elsewhere.

Yeah, it was a long kick, but c'mon. A good kicker makes that thing, he wasnt even close.

We lost and we deserved to lose.

Time to move on.

There were so MANY COMPLETELY INVINCIBLE players:

Where were Lloyd, Cooley, and others???

Probably not happening any time soon.

Gibbs is always gonna go with the white jerseys.

A lot of the younger players really want to wear the all-burgundy socks, but have found they really don't go too well with the burgundy pants.

So, to wear those socks, you gotta wear the white pants.

Convoluted logic to the highest degree.

There is a solution -- gold pants!

I disagree, if thats the case then we need to cut all of our kickers and just get more DB's. They're an important part of the game. So you'd rather take the LOSS than the tie because we blew chances?

My observations:
*Archuletta sucks, man. I had much more faith in Ryan Clark.
* Red Zone offense killed us...thus far...not too impressed w/Al Saunders play calling (but I'll give it a couple of weeks before I'm ready for blood).
* Sean Taylor got rooked on both Personal fouls. One was ridiculous and the other should have been a 5 yarder, at best
* Where was Cooley? He should have had a big game....too busy bangin cheerleaders?
* Portis played well...wish we had 10 other like him.
* John Hall??? When is the last time he came through for us. Has he ever come through for us?
* We desperately need Shawn Springs back
* Big, big disappointment on both sides of the ball

Positives- Portis doesn't look hobbled
Negatives- WE lost, Brunell, the D couldn't hold up in the fourth quarter.

This is an ignorant post. Point to someone who is "blaming the zebras" as you so ineloquently put it.

I thought Brunell played very, very well today.

He didn't take stupid chances, he was conservative with the ball, he didn't get sacked once despite our seive of an offensive line and he did a good job leading the troops.

IMO, with Campbell in this game he gets sacked 5 times.

The O got less than 300 yards - 266 to be exact, which is well under last year's 310 average. Settling for field goals when we should've gotten TDs is what's wrong here. When you're counting on an old, injured kicker with time running out, you're making a fool's bet.
