That was one of the most depressing halves of football I've ever watched. The Skins went from dominating the giants in the first half to getting completely dominated the entire second half. I hate to say it, but I think the Skins have reverted back to being the same team we saw last year. They couldn't keep the giants from getting 1st downs in the second half, and our offense was non-existant. If this is what we're going to see the rest of the season, I'm afraid we're going to see more losses than wins.

The Offence tonight was very ordinary. First half was reasonable but benefited from short fields. 2nd half it gave no help at all to the defence.
Defence allowed to many 3rd and long, they were unable to compete as they were almost permanently on the field.
I am livid. We had so many opportunties in this one and panicked at the end. We looked dangerous when Campbell stopped doing Brunell impersonations and threw the ball down the field.

I am so sick of this conservative crap once we get the lead. I have a funny feeling Gibbs took over the play calling in the second half. So vanilla run, run, third and long pass and then we punt.
I know for sure Gibbs took over the playcalling in the second half. It is so obvious. I hope he learns his lesson and lets Saunders just call the plays.
The offense was totally predictable in the second half. The defense kept us in it for as long as they could. Geez at least we are still 2-1.

- bad play-calling in 2H: running on 1 and 2 down. Especially in Q3
- OL not consistent...or maybe shaky in Q3
- Campbell still has a lot to learn. He's got the right reaction half the time, which is already more than Ramsey managed, but he has to learn. This could be painful at times (like today)
- Defense will wear down if the offense folds. That's what the Redskins are supposed to do to other teams.

That's just what I was saying this morning about the Giants, but look at the score now. This is the NFL - underestimate NO ONE!!

All i know is that Jason Campbell is ready to be the focal point of this offense and this needs to be a pass to set up the run scheme rather than a run to set up the pass scheme. Its time to start putting up scores in the 30's. Maybe they'll see that on the tape come the bye week.

That won't happen as long as JG is at the helm. He's NEVER been a passing offense and never will.... plain and simple.

Get used to it.

With a makeshift O line, we won't have a running game. With Gibbs, we won't have a passing game. The tic marks in the big L column will continue....
We were good the 1st 1/4 until they realized we're not running to the rt. Then we get spanked b/c they gameplan vs the lt side. That makes a HUGE difference.....

I have pointed out for the last 2 weeks that while we have ended up with a W after each game that was actually more because of how badly the other teams have played against us than because we deserved to win - today the Giants ended up with a W because we lost not because they won - to me there is a difference - we are still 2-1 after 3 games but we really need this QB to start being able to make the plays that we were all told he worked so hard on doing this past six months
the point is we are 2-1 but we are still not a good football team
very disapointing loss to a really terrible football team - like I said they did not beat us, we lost!

Our offense is officially 'inconsistant'
I would've loved a handoff to Sellers from the one.
