The defense cannot stop anything.

We need a spark. We need to change something. We need a new leader.

Exactly, a spark the only thing that jolts a team is a QB change or a coach Firing.

I thought BMitch was so negative at the beginning of the year but everything he has predicted has come true.

die cowboys die wrote:well as much as i hate him, it's good to see MB04 get to throw a TD pass on the last play of his career. and trust me, that was exactly what they were trying to do there, because they knew it was the last game of his career. they wanted to have him go out in "dignity", making some completions, instead of trying to wing it all over the place and embarass himself with a bunch of INTs.

Might as well keep Brunell as the starter all season now. That's practically guaranteeing a high draft pick that way. We're talking top 5 even.

The rules of this board? I apologize but it doesnt change the fact that for you to say peyton is "not a nice guy" is ludicrus and uneducated. I am not upset about the game b/c there was no way we were going to win. No way. The season ended when we lost to the Titans.

I have seen interviews with people who were in LA and said he and his family only helped when there was a publicity outlet around to record it. People like Joe Horn and Harry Connick, Jr. who are also from the area have given constantly and still go back to help out. To me that makes him a jerk. This thread is about the game and you felt you had the right to insult me and hijack the thread because you do not agree.

Just because you 'think' I am wrong, that does not make it so. You do not personally know Peyton Manning. You know no more about him then anyone else that has never actually met him. Your insults don't help your cause.

Well. I'll admit it could be worse. We could be Cardinal fans.

No idea. I have heard alot of people say that Gibbs will stick with mark because they are both deeply religious, and he has faith in him. Unfortunatly, Mark is not the best QB to be playing for us. It is time to play the future. Play Jason campbell now!!

What is Gibbs religion???????? What kind of church has brunnell as its god????l

Not sure, but does it really matter? They both suck.

You know he will.

It'll be more action filled than what we saw from the Redskins, save for the Randle El punt return.

I wish we had comcast he in Canada, is there an internet stream anywhere.

The best part of todays game is...With Oakland winning, we are just one game better then the Raiders...way to go Redskins!
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

This team is just not that good.

Brunell is old and basically finished. The cornerbacks are among the worst in the NFL. The LB's are slow and below average. The defensive line gets no pressure on the QB.

A missed 35 yard FG?

You have gotta be kidding me.

We are just not a very good team. It shows the brilliance of Gibbs that he was able to get this bunch to the divisional playoffs last year bc they really aren't that good.

I'd rather be a Cardinal fan right now. They expect to lose, but are going up, playing their youngsters. We're headed in the toilet.

Heres the low point the last time the Raiders won a game before today was last November, vs you guessed it the Redskins 16-13.

Thanks for the tongue lashing mom. I am an awful person like Peyton...or I guess, according to you now, the entire Manning family.

Translated: The season is in the toilet.

Forgot about "Mark gives us the best chance to win"......,

Yep, still waiting for that "best chance." haven't seen it yet.

We would have never beat the Texans without him remember 22 straight passes in the flat :)

No disrespect, But I could have beaten the Texans coming in from the stands after I finished my nachos. If Brunell had actually gone down the field against the texans, he would not have set the record.

And it's also Gibbs' "brilliance" that built that no-good team you're angry about, and it's Gibbs that keeps that old, washed-up QB in the game.

I love how Aikman wondered why Brunell was even still in there, and said he didn't think Campbell would be a downgrade at all. No kidding, Troy.

I don't care what anyone thinks. Brunell isn't the problem here. The problem is terribly clear......any coaching staff that decides to kick a field goal down by 20 with 10 minutes to play is clearly out of touch with reality.

it's brilliant to throw away an entire NFL season confirming what 78% of the country already knew (that MB04 was finished and could not lead a winning team this year)? :hmm:

Luckily my daughter is only 3 months old. She can't tell a good team from a bad team. They better get good, because it won't be long before she starts asking me, "why is that old fossil still coaching? Daddy, you could play better that Brunell."

This coaching staff were treated like Gods and it go to their heads. They thought it was the system and not the players and allowing all those good players go on defense is coming back to hurt them.

Oh great BS Gibbs talking in the post game now. Sounds like the same stuff every week. LOSER.
