Grampi, I am taking into account the rebuilding mode. Not many teams go to the SB in the first year of a new coach with a new offense and a new defense. Last year, we would not even be in this game. THis is a much improved team. that's all I'm saying.

Get a clue. Mike Hart up the gut 10 yard gain. Nice

Dude, you're the only person on here acting like this.

I'm not happy with the defense but what do you guys expect?

Every week we go thru this, the players aren't changing next week either. Hopefully they force another mistake.

LOL Are you watching this game? They've probably got over 150 yards RUSHING on us too. And, it's not even like we have linemen in the game.
\

Im listening to it. But didn't they just force a fumble? Didn't they recover? Aren't they giving us CHANCES TO WIN??!?

DAG! For a new defense, a new scheme with players WHO DON'T FIT, they're doing a GREAT JOB against the BEST QB POSSIBLY EVERRRRR.

The complaining comes off as ungrateful and unrealistic.

You can't win like this. Watch it for yourself. Hoping to hurt people and get 4-5 fumbles a game is not a recipe to win.

...but it's a good start. What do you expect, we were going to scheme Peyton Manning out of the game? It shows how much better he is than Rodgers and Romo. He can adjust to any scheming. The only way to stop him is to get to him, which is near impossible with our secondary because they can't cover well to give our rushers time.

Yes, we know Manning is Superman and he's indefensable....

With our personnel he is. You have to get to him, cover the receivers and stop the run all in the same play. We keep on playing dime because we don't have the DBs to cover.

We have the badest a$$es defensive player in football on the field in Orakpo and he hasn't even touched Manning. What's up with that?

hmmmm... I wonder who caused that fumble a while back...

Are you serious?

Are you??? You aren't adding anything with this comment. Drink a beer.
Your temper tantrum accusing the skins of "Hoping to hurt people" provoked incredulity. I doubt that I was the only one. It's unfortunate that you can't respond in a mature manner. I don't need anything to maintain my cool... how 'bout you?

We now return you to your regularly scheduled soap box.

We don't have any guys on offense who can just break open a play. We have to truly drive down the field methodically and hope to score.

In SOME areas they've improved. Defensively they've gotten considerably worse over the last few years. This defense is pathetic.

We are doing better at generating turnovers on D though. Better than we have been in a while.

He didn't touch him, but he did get a fumble out of him. The problem is that our coverage is so weak that Peyton doesn't have to hold the ball that long and they are open. You have to force him to hold longer to get pressure.
