Looks like the running game is working but Brunell not finding the receivers?

More like our passes aren't making it past the line of scrimmage. They keep getting batted down.

The last 3 out of 4 passes by Brunnell has either been intercepted or almost interecepted. He can't throw deep with or without pressure in his face.
The offense has not helped out the defense all year. I think 3 out of the 5 offense turnovers that have gone for a TD by the opposing defensive has been because of the lack of arm strenght of Brunnell.
When you have a defense like we do....all you ask of your offense is to not give the game away. But out of the 4 losses this year the offense has lost all 4 of them. And now in this game kinda the same thing.
So frustrating.

Well, that sucks. Two minutes to go and we're not going to try to score.

It's not worth taking the chance of Brunell throwing another int. for a TD!

We cannot rely soley on the running game to get things done. I'm not counting out our offense yet. They had it together, I'm hoping they can get it again. Joe better be in Brunnell's face right now though. This is all him, I saw no dropped passes. And no one else at fault. The line is not holding up but he was able to deal with that in the first quarter, he should be able to handle it now.

Like RIC and Amberion, I'm listening to the Bears radio...and was starting RealPlayer when the INT/TD happened. Went away temprorarily with 10 -0, Redskins driving well, in control, and then, bingo, 10 - 7.
What did the INT look like? Tipped ball? Or bad play by Brunnell?
What does Brunnell look like?
I see the Brunnell stats (6/17...started well, but then down). They don't look great.

1st quarter he looked awesome. Then he came back as the same Brunnell we've seen all year. It seemed to start when Portis was first hurt. THough I'm not sure if that's what started it.

It was a tipped pass (guy hit the ball as he was throwing it -- maybe hit his arm -- not sure). The line hasn't been holding up all that well but every once in a while they give him pretty good protection. He hasn't been all that accurate when given the time. So, it has been pretty much the way it has been the rest of the season. Looking pretty good one moment and looking really bad the next.

The TD was a tipped pass at the line and intercepted by a Bears CB.

This game is beginning to sound depressingly familiar
Start well, build a lead then slowly let it slip away with at least 1 TD of a turnover

Why go fo to 3 straight passes?
Why not just let Portis run
