I was a Ramsey supporter during the entire offseason, just hoping that he had a fair and open shot at playing his way into the starting role. Throughout all of training camp and preseason it became rather clear that he just wasn't ready to lead this team. Chalk it up to whatever you will, we can all agree that he did not perform that well in preseason of this year. (Not that Brunell was a superstar, but he was better).

You can't ditch a QB only 2 games into the season. He's in a new system, new coach, new o-line, receivers, etc. Brunell is definitely the best candidate for learning quickly--regardless of whether or not Ramsey is our "future."

Remember how stupid it was having Jeff George on our team and hearing week in and week out about the "QB contraversy" that the media totally played up? That's what it's like when people are crying for Ramsey to play right now because he's our "future."

Let Brunell play if he's healthy. He's the one you picked to start this season, give him the spot that he earned and deal with our "future" in the future--since Ramsey obviously wasn't ready to take us now.

That being said, I'm excited because I want Ramsey to do well, considering he will most likely play this week.

I'll be more than happy to eat crow. Of course, if he must start, I want him to play great. I don't wish him to fail. He hasn't shown me that he can play solid on a consistant basis. Last year everyone blamed Spurrier's protection schemes for Ramsey's short comings. Now he has protection and he's doing the same things. He's not a rookie. This is his third year. Come on. How long do we have to wait to see him blossom into this stud that a lot of people here think he is?

He's still in the process of being de-Spurrierized. The first two years are coming real close to not counting.

........Minus the INTs, we win games with P-RAM. He has better protection and better schemes, this dude will succeed.

Patrick will do fine under Gibbs. Mark my words: He was not there for us last Sunday. He will be there for us next Monday!

not only that, you may have to not count this season as well, since he has to be "de-Spurrierized" ;-)
