he didn't fullfill his contract, because if i remember correctly, we had dead cap dollars invested in DG's retirement. with him on a BIG downslide in his career at the very end, we probably saved a little by not paying his salary as well, so i do think he retired at the right time.He paid his dues (his body can probably witness to the fact) and fulfilled his contractual obligation to the team, the league, and, yes, the fans.
