I think you're right: a 9 - 7 record looks like a winner.

For a team most of the experts predicted to win seven games we were this close to having seven wins already. I'm not sure how anyone can classify this season as a failure no matter what happens from here forward. This team has exceeded expectations in every way. And that was before the rash of injuries.

Man they were injured as hell yesterday, and I still thought it was one of the most entertaining games of the season. Wish they'd won it (and not lost our QB), but it was a really good game to watch.

this season could certainly not be classified as a failure - this franchise was expected to win 6 or 7 games and is a bottom third of the league franchise - we still are - Alex Smith got us to 6 wins and IMO we're in better shape with Colt McCoy to go onto the playoffs - we could even win the Super Bowl ...

we were always going to be looking for Smith's replacement at QB - he's shown that he's not a top tier QB anymore

that 94M contract with 71M guaranteed, looks like a stupid decision right now, but what do I know - maybe some of you can clarify that

It looks good compared with the contract the Vikings gave Kirk Cousins.

 very true, that - at least we didn't keep throwing money down that drain

this season was basically about getting ready for next season for a while now - we're very fortunate to be 6-4 ...

we can still beat up on the other teams in the NFC East and that would be a great lead in to next season

looking forward to Thursday's game
I'm glad you are, I'm sure not. The Skins will get embarrassed yet again on national TV...they are now poised to hand over the divisional reigns to the Pokes...
