After googling to see how many players are currently in the Hall of Fame. There are 303 current members of the Hall of Fame.
Now if we just induct all NFL retired players. That is over 23,000 players that would have to be inducted. If we use the "Service to the NFL" crutch argument.
I wonder how much the price of bronze will rise if this were to happen. Right now bronze is $1.30 a pound. If we do what the moron who's argument is "Service to the NFL trumps all" wants to do. I am guessing on the weight of each one. But, I bet that each one weighs about 30 pounds. That would be about 105,000 pounds of bronze to fix these statues of the inductees that only get in due to "Service to the NFL".

He can't. If you go to the smack area, or look at most threads in this part of the board. He is the last poster. In fact all he does is highjack threads. 1 day he might actually pull his head outta his 4th point of contact. But, we both know it won't happen in 2017. He expresses his opinion, and expects us to accept it as fact. We counter with actual facts. Facts that we research to make sure that we are 100% correct. Yet, according to him. "We are mindless sheep who can't think for ourselves." I have even looked up, and posted Norv's Head Coaching record, and compared it to Marv Levy's, and Don Coryell's record as head coach.
The real sad fact is that he feels that Super Bowls won as a co-ordinator mean 100 times more than what you do as a head coach. Yet the nfl has never induct anyone who was a great co-ordinator, but stunk as head coach. If his argument was not flawed. Buddy Ryan would have been a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. In fact by his logic. The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be inducted. They "Served the NFL" by losing all 14 regular season games.

All players who played 5 years. But, didn't do anything worth a damn now will be inducted. If you worked at a NFL stadium for over 10 years as anything. You have "Served the NFL". So that means that you also can be inducted in the nfl. You sold tickets online. For over 10 years. But, never set foot in a NFL stadium. You also have "Served the NFL". So that means that you can also be inducted in the NFL. Your wife, sister, or mother slept with NFL players for 10 years. OH wait. That means that she "Served the NFL". I guess that means that your female relative, or wife "Served the NFL". Or, You did nothing but bought tickets for 20 years, and bought a new jersey every year. Does that qualify for "Service to the NFL"?
I have personally trashed every reason that Norv will be inducted based on his career. Because, only 3 years was he above descent. Since leaving San Diego. Norv has been the Offensive Co-ordinator of the Minnesota Vikings. Yet, he was not able to duplicate that success. In fact his only playoff appearance in Minnesota. The Vikings lost a Home Wild Card game to the Seattle Seahawks. That was his only playoff game as Vikings offensive co-ordinator.
In fact let's look at Norv Turner's record as a NFL player. That might help change my mind on this issue.
Wait, he never played a down of NFL Football. He did back up Dan Fouts and then succeed him at Oregon after Fouts was drafted by the Chargers.
The truth of the matter is Norv was LUCKY to be the offensive co-ordinator of the Cowturds for those 2 years that they won super bowls. Anyone could have called the plays for that offense. With those players. And, won consistently.

I've added my comments about the 2017 inductee class..even added Jerruh still may get in
due to "special" consideration...But wanted to see Drew Pearson get his due recognition by
