Agreed. The timing just isn't there. Yet.

He's gotten a bit better already. Great playcalling by McVay to help him settle in.

IMHO Kelley has earned a roster spot. I'd bet he's our backup to Jones and may even push for significant playing time this year. If he can keep it up.
Agreed.. I think Jones might have a shade more burst, and maybe better hands.. haven't seen enough passes to Kelley to say for sure, but he's lookn to earn the #1 spot not just be Jones back up! R

I've been on the Kelley train since day one. Glad to see him getting opportunities although I think some of these are because Marshall is hurt. Either way, Kelley runs hard every play. Good quality in a back.

Lichtensteiger got bowled over on that pass play. Stork has a solid, solid chance to take his job.

The tight ends are going to be scaring the crap out of opposing teams.

Cousins has three TD passes. Nice turnaround from that first quarter QBR.

BAM! A precision finish to the half by the offense. Take a seat, gentlemen, you've earned it.

Oh yeah. I was getting nervous for a minute, but the Cousins we know and love finally came out of his shell.
It helps that he has fabulous weapons (who, by the way, started hanging onto the ball) of course.

Great stuff by the Skins. I can't wait for the season, and we get to open it up with one of our toughest games. Let's go!

46 didn't even make an attempt to wrap up on that "tackle".

And we get the win. Nice defensive stop at the end of the game. Hope that some of those guys who made plays find a home here or elsewhere in the NFL.

Rough first quarter with so many penalties, a rash of drops and a poor decision by Cousins that led to a pick but they came alive in the second quarter with 3 straight touchdowns. I like Kelly and Mac Brown running the football and the defense looks improved.

Like other observations the timing looked akward, Kelly looked good and did a great job protecting. Cousins has total faith in the Oline. Prestin Smith is just a beast, he'll change a game in our favor. Josh Norman is the real deal, it put a smile on my face to watch him work. We had some very fortunite calls go our way, it made a difference in the game.
I guess it is true that the defense gells before the offense.
From what I saw I'd say we are in trouble playing the Steelers. They won't let the offense get in sync like the Bills did.

Kelley was great at picking up the blitz last night. Definitely earned his spot.
