No doubt, man. Its mind boggling. I just heard Keim on ESPN though saying he would expect Cousins to get the start. If that's true, can you imagine what the relationship between Gruden and Griffin must be right now?

So now we are shifting from Robert being the cancer to Colt sucking.. when clearly the line, rb, and tes cant block for isht. You dont think the 27 rush yards falls on coach? Or does Almo suck too? Djax wasnt here last year- he been great but isnt the entire wr core.

I posted in colts win five thread, that this was a pivotal game for him since he hasnt faced a Defense of this caliber yet. I think we saw what hed have looked like vs min if we "stayed w the 'hot' hand."

He's delusional. Pretty much everyone knows that it's either Gruden or Griffin gone next year.

Yeah you're 100% right man. Let's get Art Briles in here, I'm sure that will solve all of the problems. We've been really successful with firing and hiring coaches to date.

Gruden was really smart when he took this job. His agent insisted on a five year deal because he knew what a train wreck of a team he was taking on and wanted to protect himself from exactly this type of reaction, getting canned in the first year.

I think the sad part about what you wrote is that you think the players are "under performing". No, they're not. They're pretty much performing to their abilities.

^ I suppose I wasnt clear- when the offense is putting up a goose egg.. at home.. vs a team not going to the playoffs.. its bad. The unit didnt do its job- despite players playing their best- iF that were the case. He isnt playing our players to the best of their abilities or scheming to their strengths.

Im not a knee jerk reaction type. I want Gruden AND Griffin back w a full qb camp battle. I also want Gruden to take some accountability though.. and quit being so damn stubborn with "his" system. We dont have the pass blocking line his system needs. We are stuck with zone blocking midgets who get pushed around evey play

Why on Earth would anyone want Griffin back to have an open competition next year? If Cousins beats him out, starts strong and then goes through a skid, you know how impatient Gruden is...then he goes to Griffin? And if Griffin struggles, does he switch to whoever #3 is? It'll be a repeat from this year.

Whats the alternative? Cutting Griffin seems like a waste... not like theres a bunch of awesome qbs to choose from. Why not give these qbs an offseason to work on their crafts?

I know there is a great divide rg3 hopefulls and people who are sick of him and want him gone. Realistically, though, what options do we have to be under center next year?

You could trade him. Which makes Gruden keeping him at the #2 spot and saying if McCoy can't go Sunday, Griffin will start, more mind boggling. If he stinks, there goes his value even more.

We pretty much have Cousins and/or Griffin and either a FA pickup for a #3 emergency (a la McCoy) or draft a QB. But I don't think Gruden and Griffin can coexist on the same team anymore. Realistically, if Gruden keeps Cousins and Griffin and Cousins beats him out in training camp and is named the starter, can you imagine what that would do to Griffin's ego? Do you think he'd still want to stay on the team at that point? Or even if he knew that going into next season he would have to earn his starting spot?

we have 3 QBs - I don't think any of them are starting QB material right now ... plus, we have a lot of other issues

why not help all 3 as much as possible and try and find 1 that can help us through the 2 or 3 years it's going to take to rebuild this team

if Snyder and Allen are going to be running the show, the QB will be RG3 and Gruden can take it or leave it

and ... we're screwed



we need a real GM and we need Griffin to show up at camp next season, ready to be an effective NFL QB

As the season draws to another disappointing end I think many of us here are approaching a consensus on the board. First, the team has multiple issues including the OL and defensive backfield the need to be addressed before bringing in another QB. Second, while none of the 3 Redskin QBs may become quality starters Griffin is the least suited to Gruden's offense and probably shouldn't be back next season. Third, Gruden better have a better second year because we are disappointed with his first year production.

Trade Griffin? I'm all for it but what team would trade for him? Wouldn't they be on the hook for an expensive 4 year on his contract that is wholly unwarranted for a guy who is clearly a bust in DC, why would any team want him?

A team who is starved for a QB (Jacksonville, Oakland, Tennessee) would definitely consider getting Griffin.

Jacksonville and Oakland both just drafted first round QBs last year. Titans are going to have a top three pick this year.

Although neither Oakland or Jacksonville's QB's have panned out the way they've hoped.

I think the only way RGIII gets traded is if another team would be willing to pick up that 2016 option for 15 million plus. That will be a huge sticking point im sure.

Not really sure why any team would guarantee RGIII $15m right now or why that would factor into a trade.

Oakland is pretty up on Carr actually... out played Kap last week (not saying a lot this year), and hes been improving. Beating out a vet who took the passing title a few years back says something too.
