I can't remember when I joined, although Joe Gibbs had just been hired and suddenly I had hope again. I think Jake (or maybe Terry, his mom) used an avatar of baby Jake riding the shoulders of a giant Redskin lineman during a pre-season practice. The Fan From Annapolis was still the FFA. And several fine people were here who aren't with us anymore.

Should remind everyone that NC43 is not only a fan of the best running back ever to play for the Redskins, but a magnificent artist. The avatars are among the things that make this place special. A note: I used to mention my son, Redskin Dan v.1978. He's now a father times three...yep, I've gotten three grandsons since THN started.

No clue how I found it but joined 3/24/04. It's been a lot of fun and have met a number of guys on here. No joke. Some guys are like distant relatives at this point.

I really hope this year we can all get together for a THN Tailgate.. at least once because we will win the SB this year

I am down for a tailgate party.

At one time, there was a THN tailgate before every home game.

First message board I ever joined... in February, 2004. If I remember correctly the return of Gibbs was the big news at the time. Thanks for the great site and forum.

Wow it's been that long. Found the site when I got stationed back in Maryland. I don't post much, but I love reading everyone's post. Ill always be a diehard Redskins fan; win,lose,or draw!

Thanks BossHog for the great site! on June 5th this year it will be 10 years for me.

I've learned lots in the 10 years and have spent some quality time with my fellow 'Skins fans.

Here's to the next 10+ years!

Wow, can't believe it's been 10 years since I've joined...the site is more than Redskins - everything from favorite beers to Boss (Mark) informing me what places to see on my Canadian vacation. Here's to another 10 years!!!!!

So proud to be a part of the NFL's best fan base! We may be a little delusional and suicidal at times, but we all are here on this site to promote the best team in the NFL. I will always stand up and cheer for my Redskins, no matter how hard and heartbreaking it may be. Hail to the Redskins!

I wish to honour the names of all those who have been here for 10 years or longer, those who still post here but also the names of many great fans who are no longer present in the board for many reasons.

Not as active as I used to be, but I'm still around.

Oh my! Even I have been here for 10. WOW!! Time sure has flown. Well done Boss. We have had issues, but we all have the same desire. Thanks for putting up a great site! I will be here for another ten, at least!

Seriously, I want to thank you, BH, as well as the locals - you know who you are - whose posts I see every time I come back in from the cold (again). It is nice to know that sometimes no matter how much things change, they still remain more or less the same. And I hope there's another raffle or whatnot in 18, cuz, that's when I'd be like....hang on a sec....carry the two....well, it'd be a lot of years, I know that much. Thanks Boss and 'trey and Darth and SJ and of course Deadskins, among many others, who are still keeping the faith when I fail at it miserably. Cheers fellas.

Been reading through the thread - awesome to read some of your memories btw - but once Boss mentioned F2FA and then Welch (big ups on your 3 grommets buddy, you've gotta be loving it) called someone the FFA(?) I believe...might as well be Middle English for all I understand what those acros are. Thanks in advance for the 411.
