WHAT does anything that happened in 2007 have to do with this?

You're not hinting at something OR ... are you?

Mostly saying Chris has been an above average player on mostly crappy teams and his one shot to do something that could have really made a difference, he dropped the ball. I don't consider him clutch in any way.

Ah... He was drafted by the skins in like 04, and we are the only crappy team he ever played with. Bring up one dumb drop for CC, and trying to discount him is beyond ignorant! He bleeds B&G, hates the pukes, and is one of/ if not THE greatest TE in our franchises history.
Hes as clutch as we've ever had man! Now argue away about.him having nothing left to give and ill be a skeptic and say we shall see. To say he ain't never been or done anything... Well them is fighting words!

Sorry. I've been watching the Skins since 1970. I've seen all the greats. Cooley is decent. It doesn't matter to me he has only played for us, Monk, Clark, Charley Taylor, Roy Jefferson, Jerry Smith and Ricky Sanders were clutch. Cooley is decent. That's it.

Not drinking. Just stating my opinion. You don't have to agree.

Couldn't disagree with you any more. And the stats back me up. Yes, he has been out of the picture the last couple of years, but '04-'09 he was as good as we've ever had.

Hey guys, not sure if you heard yet but Cooley isn't very good anymore. Drop the obsession.

"But, but, he bleeds B&G..." Shut up, sit down, and play with the bag of cheerios in your fanny pack.

Hey ATX, read the discussion before posting. We're talking career.

no worries JSPB - he's obviously into himself - let him play with his own thoughts - he's happy - nobody pays any attention to him anyway

Ha ha, fanny packing it? Straight from the horses mouth eh?
Since you're referring to.my comment wassup? What u got? A decline after returning from injury?.. normal. Losing playing time to younger players?, ask Alex Smith. Since he hasn't been on the field much I'm not sure anyone can judge his play other then MS and co. Is there any facts you can provide that suggest Shanny isn't gonna continue to increase his roll? We all know how big he is on "football shape", and he wouldn't bring someone back who he thought was "done."

Crazy you found time to hate on CC... Between all the Banks bashing- that is actually a little more deserving, despite the poor protection and coaching being a major factor contributing to HIS decline.. smh

Remember, he was cut and the ONLY reason he is here is because Davis got hurt. If that doesn't happen Cooley is watching on TV.

And for the record, I don't hate Chris, I just don't see why people have this idea that he is going to make a big difference on the team and is still what he was. He is done. He is only here because of injury and his playing time is just about over. Sorry, that's life in the NFL. If he had any real ability left to be a difference maker, I am sure Shanny would have him out there full time.

Here's the reality my friend - we all FULLY understand that Chris is here due to other players not being available

We also FULLY understand that Cooley is CERTAINLY NOT the same player as he was ...

give us a break here - you seem to have a really great handle on all this

just who do you think we would be better off with at the TE position and that was available when we were looking?

Who do you think Mike should have brought in here that knew the system and that might have the upside Cooley has?

I know you're busy helping a lot of others that don't know as much as you do but just 'spare me a dime' - enlighten us

If you really want to know, I think we should have found a young tight end that we could groom for the future since Cooley is not in the long range plan. I don't remember if we still have the one on the practice squad or not. That being said, I am done talking about Cooley for now as we are starting to go in circles and there isn't much more to say really.

Its all good. All the really matters is that at the end of the day we will all be having a couple of cold ones celebrating another win tomorrow , regardless of who plays.

Niles Paul with nearly a very costly fumble. But for now, he's lost as many as Brandon.

Before today the Ravens were #4 in the NFL in covering punts.
