They separated Mexicans out from the entire race section.

Back to the topic, I am white, and I am absolutely rooting for Kirk Cousins...
If, God forbid RG3 gets hurt I want him ready to go and to do well. What's wrong with that?

I don't care what color your skin is as long as your blood is Burgundy.

Yeah, but only the chosen few also bleed a tinge of gold.

I'm white and rooting for RGIII.
I'm surprised Bayless didn't lose his job over those comments.

Clueless has come up on this board before for similarly insane comments. The problem is that ESPN employs him specifically to do this very thing. So long as he doesn't cross some uncrossable line (and I imagine they parse his statements to the letter to ensure there's enough equivocation so as to not be patently offensive enough to really cause a firestorm), he'll keep getting paid to pander to the lowest common denominator.

I find it odd that they lump hispanics in the white category mainly because Americans (on applications and forms you typically fill out like medical forms) place it as a separate "race".

A QB with healthy wheels is in trouble with that offensive line and Bob has a reconstructed one. Cousins absolutely will see plenty of playing time.

You don't even know who will be on the offensive line yet, let alone how they will perform
masterkwon wrote:and Bob has a reconstructed one.
If it's reconstructed that makes healthy or was it done just because he was wondering what it would be like to be cut on?
masterkwon wrote: Cousins absolutely will see plenty of playing time.
I agree Cousins absolutely get plenty of playing time NEXT WEEK, then he'll be watching like the rest of us.

Although, in Texas, most hispanics do choose the "white" category for race for the U.S. Census,
(You can evidence this by looking at the total white population and comparing it to the "white, not of hispanic descent population), technically, they didn't lump hispanics into the white category. The Bureau is saying that
Hispanic is not a race, so a person who is hispanic is supposed to chose a race in addition to claiming hispanic origin. Thus a hispanic person could choose "Black" which is lumped with "African American, but distinguished from it. Yes, there are
black Mexicans. This choice of race is not unique to Hispanics. Race if based on self identification. On the U.S. Census, I
emphasize U.S. Census, any of us can choose to be whatever race we want. Anyone can chose any quarterback they want irregardless of race.
An individual’s response to the race question is based upon self-identification. The Census Bureau does not tell individuals which boxes to mark or what heritage to write in.
If you are multi-race, the Census encourages one to pick each race one identifies with.
Back on topic. We all remember the riots when McNabb was replaced by Grossman?

I do not respond to form questions about race, no matter who asks.
Leave it blank. Until such questions are gone, there will be no such thing as a color blind society.
Back to topic... this white boy is rooting for Cousins... he knows that the better he shows, the more he'll be worth as trade bait...
