WRONG - there is NO "reasonable counter argument" to irrational & baseless trolls ... NONE

THIS is a fact - she will leave the site if there is no response - guaranteed

to get Ricky Williams the saints used:
1st 7-1,200
1st 2-2,600
3rd 71-235
3rd witch would be a 2nd round pick today 64-270
4th 107-80
5th 144-34
6th 179-19.8
7th 218-4.2
A value of 4,443 for a pick thats value was 1,700

to get griffin the redskins used:
1st 6-1,600
2nd 39-510
1st in 2013 the fact is we dont know the value of this pck but lets just say its the 12th pick -1,200
1st in 2014 same here but lets just say its the 18th pick- 900
A value of 4,210 for a pick thats value was 2,600

The value of the Skins picks could be as high as 8,110 or as low as 3,290 but the fact is we don't know and no one can say for sure right now if they gave up to much.

Your facts are meaningless! The redskins are the worst franchise, owned by an inompetent owner who NEVER does anything right and will forever be awful. The whole league is laughing at you fans who think RGIII will ever be any good, the whole league knows he's worthless and no one else was even trying to move up to get him so clearly they gave up WAY TOO much to get him.

the value of a good franchise QB that leads a team for 10 + seasons is beyond measurements

RGIII, at worst, will be a good NFL QB - he's more likely to be a great NFL QB

thanks ckR

some QBs are great because they have a great supporting cast and coaching

RGIII will make the players and coaches around him look even better than they are for years

RGIII is a rare talent with a great work ethic, a desire to be the best QB he can be and to make everything around him better

there are many fans that are really pissed off that we have RGIII - none of them are thinking we gave up too much to get him :D

You're probably right. In the meantime, we have to wade through endless DFTT comments though. Seriously, how many threads get hijacked by discussions about how everybody should not respond to this one idiot? An entire 1/3 at least of this thread. Tiresome.

That's my bad. I failed to recognize the tell-tale signs and responded to obvious hyperbole.

It's a rookie mistake; I know.

Sorry 'bout that.

Don't beat yourself up about it. I suspect that, as people trickle back in as the pre-season winds down, the troll will get plenty of food. At this point, we'll just have to wait until the winning begins to be rid of her.

This was stolen from a REAL fan, also something a REAL troll has no business saying when his team was just sold to a fan of his teams arch rival.

Only a troll that roots for a team, that's pasted on RGIII and selected two guys in the first round instead one is also QB, but in pre-season game one, that QB looked like something that rhymes it and the second pick was a RB that came into camp already banged up.

I'm sure there will be replies to the contrary due to the fact that the weather has caused many rivers to rise allowing all kinds of things to float up from under the bridges and on to dry land.

Skeletor wrote:you guys missed the point of my question. I wasn't asking whether the trade was worth it. Or to evaluate RG3 at this point. and my question had nothing to do with Luck.

I'm curious whether those who thought we shouldn't trade up for a quarterback at all, still think so...

I remember a long thread debating whether it was worth trading up for a qb or not.

Thought I might be able to help get this back on track. ~aside~ Where were you when all this started, Skeletor (one of my favorite handles BTW)? Were you not an early supporter?

I can't even comprehend this. throw in a few ye olde's and I would say this sentence was crafted during the shakespearian era, valjean.

Since the word troll is applied arbritrarily by people with iq's that I would love to match against mine, I think I'm going to start playing the same fun little game.

if I suspect anyone avoiding the subject or incapable of talking football or if they desire to talk about another football team on this site in threads about the redskins, I shall deem them a troll too. this is fun.

you're the first troll. congrats. many to follow, I'm sure.

I'm thinking you just called me a troll... but that would mean you're attacking me and not my post

I'm thinking you would know better than to do something like that outside of the Smack forum.

I'm also thinking maybe you don't comprehend the rules too good.

Now that I think about it  I'll be the only person that you call a troll, because the next you call someone anything instead of addressing their post, I'm gonna think you didn't take this as your one and only public warning.

I'm the troll that's been defending your not breaking the rules and then you want to post about what you don't comprehend. We're a pretty bright bunch here and had pretty much already figured out your level of comprehension, but I hope you can comprehend what I'm saying.

then you're gonna be a very busy person, as it has been used in similar fashion by all your regulars, including yourself. can u ban yourself? how does that work when you break the rules?

Skeletor wrote:There were a lot of people on this site that were very opposed to the Skins trading up to the number 2 pick this offseason. I'm wondering whether that sentiment still exists?

Are there fans here that believe the price was too steep or that we shouldn't have drafted a quarterback yet because we needed to build the team around him more first?

Or has RG3 already changed your mind?

Just curious...

as I've said - I was against trading any picks at first - a couple of posters here convinced me ...

Browns fans must be really mad at their FO

RGIII is going to show that he was worth a whole lot more than what we gave up

in a few years, NFL fans will look at this trade as a steal for the Redskins and hopefully a big help to the Rams

AND

a BIG mistake by the Browns, who clearly FAILED to make the deal :D

We treat everyone the same around here (that includes me} and they (and I) were warned when they did it, none of us advised any of the staff that we'd be busy in response to their warning, you on the other hand have no idea who you're dealing with. I'll put it this...

I've been doing this for a while so don't threaten me with a good time, do your thang.

You can try to make me busy but the only thing you'll do is make the other members happy. It's hard to be a troll when you can't post.

And another thing: dftt isn't a attack on you it's a PSA to our bored members, it means they are subject to feel dumber when they realize the time wasted after reading your post...
