We definitely need a WR like Jackson, but I don't think we're in a position that we need to be breaking the bank on any one player, especially a WR. I would MUCH rather see them break the bank on the best offensive linemen available and protect our franchise QB. Carl Nicks, Ben Grubbs, whatever. Give the kid the best chance to stay on his feet this season.

+1. A quarterback like this will make any receiver better... he buys an additional 2 or 3 seconds to get separation, and has the arm and accuracy to get the ball there when it needs to be. Anthony Armstrong can become a game breaker. Hankerson a master of the ball control passing game. Even Banks can become a killer pocket rocket. The object is now, give him a little more time in the pocket prior to needing to extend the play. That means building the O line will have a bigger payoff than getting a true elite reciever.

OTOH... it sure wouldn't hurt to get an elite receiver, as well. (btw, I still believe that Len Hankerson has it in him to become that elite receiver, as well... but I wouldn't object to a little quality time with VJax, as well.)

I'm with you, man. I'd love to upgrade WR as well. I would just hate to see us address that position at the expense of the line.

I think you're totally on point about RGIII making some of our current WRs look better too. Just thinking back on how many of those deep shots Rex under threw last season...
