The Redskins trade the 6th pick in the draft and Dan Snyder to the Patriots for Robert Kraft.

Lots of other players who could potentially be on our roster next year depending on what our draft strategy is. Most of you guys know the names I'm sure. I'll be watching intently tonight.

With the 6th Pick, the Redskins choose Ryan Tannehill, QB of Texas A & M.

The talented, high ceiling prospect looks like the third quarterback in this draft, with some analysts believing he could go as early as the top ten picks.

As the days to the draft count down, Tannehill's stock goes up. Shanny will not be able to trade down very far and still get him. Shanny pulls the trigger in round one for Tannehill. IMO, this guy has the inner stuff to match his skills to be a day one starter. This is Shanny's guy from the get go. Tough break about the Senior Bowl, but it is to Shanny's advantage he not play.

EDITOR'S NOTE: With Tannehill's foot injury diagnosed as a broken foot. I will revise my pick this weekend. I am not giving up on Tannehill. We could always pick him up in the later rounds especially if we go the FA route for a QB.

If w some how anyhow draft RGIII I couldn't guarantee I don't cry... Tears of joy!

If we pick this guy up at 6...I would be extremely upset, in fact anywhere in the first round is really a stretch IMO. He is SUCH a project, extremely inaccurate and has had very limited experience. Just cause a couple guys on here are touting him as the next great, doesn't mean he is. Good grief.

I don't think they make this pick at #6, but I could see the Skins trading down and picking Reiff or Jonathan Martin later in the first round. That's my hognostication.

Having picked up Matt Flynn in FA we now not only have a decent QB but someone for him to throw the ball to as well!

This way we keep all our picks, which we need to give the new QB targets to throw to and some proper protection.

Why should we give up important draft picks for RGIII..? Remember, even Grossman moved the ball well with this injury ravaged offense, he just threw far too many int's. Flynn is accurate and he also has some NFL experience compared to a rookie, which can only be a good thing.

Chief, the offseason is still yet early. We shall see how his stock progresses (or not) up to draft day. If Ryan does not impress at the combine, interviews, and pro days, then obviously my prediction is waaaaaaay off. Right now, he is the third ranked QB in a lot of folks books. That means, if he impresses, somebody will have to over draft for him. With his intangibles and skill set, he may well prove worth it.

My prediction also assumes that RGIII will not fall to us and that we will not be able to outbid others for his services.

So fear not, if Ryan Tannehill is not the hottest pre-draft QB behind Luck and RGIII, this ain't happening with the 6th pick.

How about the Skins giving the #6 pick to Bungles for #17 and #22.

With the #17 they take Tannehill and at #22 they take Michael Floyd.

By the way, Floyd at #6 is retardedly early. Heck any WR in the top 10 is too early!

I like that idea but a lot of teams will be looking for QBs and receivers, do you think they'll sttill be there that late into the round...???

Tannehill broke his foot and will require surgery. He's not at best a 2nd round pick. The guy I see the coaches falling in love with is Nick Foles. This will be the first time he's played with any bit of talent around him and if the coaches get the luxury to work with him, they'll see he's extremely athletic and has a more than capable arm to make plays in and out of the pocket.

Either way, it's going to be a lot of fun and VERY interesting.

Yes, that is what I mean, but if you're going to list the few good high pick wr you should also list the 3 or 4 busts for every hit.

And yes, I know every position has busts, but when you hit on a wr you don't get as much as a hit at almost any other position.

Jones didn't just cost a high first, it took two first, a second, a third and a fourth to get him. No wr in the history of the NFL has been worth that, even Jerry Rice!

You can't reach for player just because you need him. You can't take a 2nd round QB in the top ten just because he will be gone before your spot in the second. In this case trading down to the middle of the first and taking two guys that are not in the top 20 or 30 on an overall ranking and taking a chance that one or both will be gone by the time pick #17 comes up is much more palatable.

Can't wait for the Senior Bowl, Combine, & Draft. Wish they happend back to back to back like tomorrow.
