and what if Luck did get hurt this year? Does that mean he couldn't still be amazing in the Pro's? I seem to recall Sam Bradford suffering a serious shoulder injury at Oklahoma and he was pretty damn good as a rookie last year for the Rams.

DarthMonk the best QB prospect in 2-3 years will not be as good as Andrew Luck. Sorry that isn't going to happen. Andrew Luck is a once in a generation type talent.

Also DarthMonk why further delay getting a franchise QB 2-3 years down the road? What is the point of that?

NOBODY cares about YOU - You can eat crow - BUT we'll still be a useless franchise - good luck with that thinking

THANKFULLY - you're not going to get ANYTHING you want for this franchise that you are NOT a REAL fan of

Mike & Bruce are going to show you & the others how BADLY misguided your thinking is of what it will take to remake a franchise

these guys have a clue - you and your "suck for Luck" buddies have NONE

Go back to your other franchise
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Right ... blind homer ... and you're a fan.

Ladies and gentlemen, mark this quote down. It will come in handy in the not-too-distant future. Red_One43, you there?

Aw Maaaan, who let RR56 out of his 2-14 thread? Was he not getting enough attention over there?

RR, will kindly go back to your thread, so people who believe in the Redskins can have an earnest discussion about the Skins winning the East and please take no offense to getting pissed for them winning it.

Be patient! Some folks will be back over there in a bit and sorry for talking about Lombardi and Allen on your thread, Ok. Are we square?

You're delusional to think that the Redskins can win the division. WE HAVE WON 10 total games the last 2 seasons and now with John Beck at QB you think we can win the division? AHHHAAHH Newsflash this isn't the NFC West and even if it were STL would beat us out for the division. Just wait until week 3 when they kick our butt again just like last year. Whatever you guys are smoking you should lay off of it.

NOBODY that wants what you want for this franchise is a REAL fan

Let me be VERY clear - you ONLY think you are a fan

You are NOT a REAL fan - NO WAY

you're just kidding yourself and maybe others in thinking that you know what's good for this franchise but you don't fool me

and you cannot get me to stop pointing out the reasons YOU are NOT a REAL fan

most of it is easy - YOU make it obvious - I'm just piling on to your own 'stuff'

BTW - Please make sure you identify just exactly where these seats of yours are IF you really have them

I'd like to see what sort of 'fan' you are during the games
do you cheer for the other team or just the one that you're a REAL fan of
we all know you don't want the Redskins to win

most of us are Redskins fans - we love our Redskins and whoever is playing the pukes that week

which is your REAL team?

just tell us your seat # so we can see which jersy you show up in

LPJ and a few other REAL Redskins fans might want to come and 'share' with you too

why not try tailgaiting with DEHog - that aught to be fun :D

Skins Jock dude seriously.. I AM ONLY cheering against the Redskins this one season so we can land Andrew Luck. I will never do it again. As I have stated I do not want to root against my beloved Redskins. I will come tailgate with you and Dehog. I do not want you to bother me at my seats. I will show up in my Snyder sucks t-shirt wearing my Darrell Green jersey. Tell me where the tailgate is and I will be there Week 1.

you really need to stop thinking that we don't want to get Andrew Luck

LET ME TRY AND GET THIS FACT CLEAR WITH YOU

WE ALL WANT ANDREW LUCK and we may get him :D

that's not the issue here - you're thinking that this franchise needs to lose or do whatever it takes on the field to ensure that we get Andrew Luck is just patently STUPID

You're not STUPID - Your ideas are

NO fan that thinks like that can be considered a REAL fan

YOU are NOT a REAL fan of the Redskins no matter what you THINK

You make it easy for those that don't know you to believe you are not a fan of the Redskins. Most of us know you better (including SJ) but you really make it easy.

You PLAY to WIN... this year next year every year. It true it takes a little LUCK to get to and win the big one. Not the Luck that you want, and never by the route that you want the Redskins to take.

You want the next Peyton what if he's his little brother and doesn't like the team with the no. 1 pick. What happens then... draft a kicker and blow the 2012 season for whoever the 4-letter network declares to be the next Peyton. Isn't the NBA still waiting on the next Jordan?

If Mike and Bruce want Luck they'll go after him next off season. They have plenty of picks to work with and the roster has already been turned over.

In the NFL you don't game plan based on what might possibly happen next off season.

It seems the Giants are reeling a bit. They can be had week 1.

How good are the Cowboys? I hate to say it but I think they are closer to the 13-3 of 2 years ago than last year's 6-10 now that they have a coach.

The Eagles are very talented. They are thin on o-line and small on d-line.

We seem solid but unspectacular everywhere. We are fairly deep.

I like 2-4 in division. A split of 3-3 with home wins would be great.

I'll use and EV of 2.5 wins in our division.

The Rams away will be tough. Seattle should be a win but it's there. 49ers should struggle here. The Cards here won't be easy but we should pull out a win.

Versus NFC West I'll use and EV of 3 wins.

We ought to lose to the Pats and Jets here. We should beat Buffalo in Canada and Miami down there.

Versus AFC West I'll use an EV of 2 wins.

For at Carolina and the Vikes here I'll use an EV of 1.5 wins.

This is as optimistic as I can be and say I'm being realistic. It adds up to an EV of 9 wins.

Sure would be nice to find lightning in a bottle with all this hungry youth spiced with vets. Let's spank the Giants and get on a little roll.

I would be shocked if the Giants can pull themselves back together after almost letting Coughlin go after last year. The Osi thing this year. Letting almost all their O line go - did they sign any of them back? Steve Smith gone. Eli has yet to be a consistent QB. Yes, let it start with spanking of the Giants.

Of course you would. What if 8 years from now we are short a franchise QB and there is another "Luck" in the draft? Not only will you be cheering for the Redskins to lose, but you'll be calling anyone who has reservations about that "strategy" blind, a homer, unrealistic, etc.

Irn-Bru Why would we need another Andrew Luck in 8 years if we draft him next year? My hope is that Andrew Luck would be our Franchise QB for his whole career (Ie, the next 12-15 years or so)
