Until we win 5 games, let's not talk about having a better W-L record.

we may not be 'better' than last year BUT we are not going to be drafting in the top 10 in the next draft either

we may not look very good at present but there are a bunch of other teams that are worse

gotta think positive

I use what I have in front of me, not some crack induced pipe dream that defies reality. Even if we back in to the playoffs like we did with Brunell, does that really mark any improvement? There are FUNDEMENTAL issues that are not being addressed. Until these FUNDEMENTAL issues are addressed, then there's no improvement. And I like reality vs pipe dreams.

I agree with Vet here. This team has shown absolutely no signs of improvement. At this point where exactly do we focus our concern on? From what I'm looking at it's not just the O-line. We got exposed Monday night for how awful we really are. Even with 28 pts we couldn't save face.

Technically, they tried harder on the Swinging Gate, especially when trying to execute it once the defense knew what was coming.

Monday night's butt-kicking is way worse than the swinging gate, because we still hoped for a turnaround for the 2nd half of the season.

Little did WE know that the team WOULD turn around, but only so the Eagles could get a clearer shot on their hindquarters.

Their play was abismal.

ROTFALMAO - speaking of "crack induced pipe dream" - anyone that thinks this franchise might "back in to the playoffs" is out of their mind - nobody with any real knowledge of what is happening in the NFL thinks that the Redskins are even close to making the playoffs

I never thought that this franchise was making the playoffs - I think that there are a lot of bad teams in the NFL this year but we're not getting to be consistently competitive until this FO is given the time to clean up the mess left over from dumb and dumber and that will take time

we are lucky to have football guys in charge here now and things haven't gone very well - BUT, when you consider the bigger picture we are better off having them in charge than having those 2 idiots trying to get things back on track

we'll see what happens going forward but one thing for sure - this FO is going to end up this year with a better record than last year - that's a good thing

The FO plus MS still seems terrible to me. We have three pickups of some value: Williams, Armstrong, and Banks. Williams was a no-brainer and the two others were smart picks, so I give the FO credit for two heads up pickups-- nothing more. Maybe Torain and Carriker will work out-- I don't know. Maybe McNabb will improve as the OL improves. Right now, I give the FO an "F." It failed to significantly improve the OL and has apparently destroyed the D.

This is a laughable statement. After 9 games you are already calling them a failure. What a joke. You haven't even seen what Perry can do. By the way, this is what Spanos does with linebackers. Like in Pittsburgh, he drafts them, lets them learn the system on the bench for a year and then they become pro bowl players. So be patient.

In half a season, they stabalized the most important position on the field, drafted the best tackle in the draft and began the stabilization of the line, and no that wasn't a no brainer considering most in here thought they should draft Okung who has played in a total of 1/2 a game. They found AA, Banks, Torain, Carriker, and I already mentioned Perry. Jamal Brown hasn't worked out, but that's life in the NFL.
