Except for a couple of penalties, Heyer played a really good game today. Give the guy a break, he's playing one of the toughest positions on the field.

Sorry he is not getting one from me and I can't wait for Trent Willams to be back. Heyer always seems to screw up at the worst possible times.

Well looks like the Skins slim playoff hopes went up in smoke today against the vikes.
I was hoping for a 9-7 season at least but after the last 3 weeks I don't know.
Whooping by the eagles, W against Titans, Losing to over the hill Favre.
I don't understand Haslett at all ??????? How many times can you let Favre Bootleg out??? Without calling something to Scheme against it? or if you did it was a pathetic scheme??? The Vikes adjusted to what the Skins where doing in the first half but seems the Skins did not. Pathetic MR.Haslett and you seem so lost over on the sidelines with headset on, never doing nothing but staring into outer space?????
I don't know maybe the talent level on the roster of the Skins is just not that good.
We just simply don't have enough Talent to be a good football Team right now?
Another Year of being losers in The NFL again.
I still like having #5 on the team just keep adding talent to the team and building around him.
I want Rabach gone as soon as possible, so tired of seeing him get Blown up, play after play.
Please Santa all I want for Christmas is An Elite NFL O-line.!!!!!!!!!!
Smart & Smarter still have a lot of work to do here
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

1. Right. Always over hyped by the media.
2. Too many holes at key positions and no depth.
3. Again and again and again and ...
Several KEY mistakes compounded the problem, not the least of which has been the change in te defensive scheme without the right personnel to run it.
But our OL has been a joke for a LONG time too.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
Peyton is getting killed right now because there are missing starters on the O-line. That one rookie got picked up and was drove back into Manning and he went down. Manning also has thrown 3 picks so far.
Even the mighty #18 is not the same with out a elite O-line.
That's what he would look like playing for the Redskins
No Mr.Synder getting elite linemen is not important go get some more over the hill vets like Galloway, larry johnson etc...
for all those that want an elite "this" or an elite "that" - I hope we pick up a bunch of "no name" good back-ups along both lines - this is a "team game" first and foremost - this is not about having star players - it's about having good, young players and good depth - it's really easy to be good when you have the basics like a decent HC and a good QB, almost anything will do as long as they are young and make each other better

we already have a bunch of "no name" players and you don't have to be well known to form a elite 0-line. Yes young players is what we need. Team players make Elite units not one person.

Yeah, let's not blame the GM or HC, let's blame the owner... the aforementioned have NOTHING TO DO WITH acquiring players.
...any given Sunday....
RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!
GSPODS:
The National Anthem sucks.
What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

Yea Vet, that's more along the lines of what I was trying to say the other day in the other thread but you explained it better and more simple to understand.
These 2 guys have done well with what they were given and just need time to undo the mess they inherited - they did well by acquiring a good QB because we had nobody that could play at that position
some here were incorrect in their evaluation of both the defense and offense and wanted to see more from the franchise this year.
This was especially true on defense - sorry, this is this year and the coaches wanted more from a defense than just a defense that looked good statistically
we are better off than we were but it was always going to take a lot of time to unravel what dumb and dumber had assembled here and this FO will get there in time
if you don't have patience it's too bad

it is going to take a lot for us to add the depth and youth we need but I think these guys will get it done
it's going to take time to unravel this mess but I have confidence in these guys getting the job done
hopefully Snyder continues to leave them alone and just supports them

Where you been the last 10 years? Everything that is wrong with Washington Redskins today is in some way related back to Dan Snyder.
From his first days here ripping apart a Norval T. team that finally was producing. Marty S. being fired after one season. Danny Boy opening his wallet up to bringing in old aging Vets. and Trading Draft picks away. Then here comes Steve Spurrier that was a good move(not) Bringing back Gibbs to try and win with a wrecked Roster and no talent. Gibbs patched it up some and gave it his all. Wow Then Jim Zorn and it took the little squirt of a owner a whole month to find him!!! Yea I got a big grudge against him.
The reason the Skins is so full of holes does go back to Mr.Snyder and the above comment was indeed to make fun of a decade of wrong doing bye the Munchkin.
Can Mike and Bruce Fix the problem in the next two to three years? Or will they get feed up with the owner? Trading draft picks away and bringing in over the hill players will not work....Fail....Fail...Fail..
Hope this is not Shannys and Allens big plan if so no wonder Belt Buckle boy wanted them here.
I know we are on the same agreement that we need youth on this team

If you watch the lowlight video on NFL.com, you will see that Alexander and Doughty covered the TE. Alexander had a free run at Favre on that play, but he ran away into coverage where Doughty had the TE.
Read the article below. Neither one of them knows who had what.
Is it the Haslett or the players not knowing what to do because they are still learning the defense?
