There are several ex-head coaches that are currently unemployed. Holgrem (sp?), Shanahan, Gruden, Cowher (Good god I would become sick if he came in).
Anyone one of them would be an improvement.
Give me Chucky.....at least he shows fire and emotion. This team is just totally lacking when it comes to playing with passion and fire. Zorn can't get them motivated...he needs to go

This is a pointless discussion, we played 3 games. Firing Zorn would be suicide for us as an organization. We'd be tossing a season and ensuring no reputable coach would come here

I agree. Zorn is the main problem and he's GOT to go.

Then why didn't ANYBODY want the job before that? After seeing how this franchise is run why would they want to come here. Those guys know you have to have a strong front office in order to be successful, and when you look at what has happened over the past couple of seasons...why would you come here???

I'm getting sick to my stomach watching Snyder rip this franchise apart! Zorn is just horrible and our team is filled with mostly j.v. players.

I wondered how long it would take for the discussion to get more stupid then the reality. OK, I wasn't seriously wondering.

How would getting rid of this team's main problem be suicide? THIS TEAM IS WORSE THAN IT'S EVER BEEN RIGHT NOW, THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY TO GO FROM HERE....UP!

Today, I am ashamed to be a redskins fan. Even worse sorry that we have spent the thousands of dollars to be season ticket holders. I guess in any league, you have to have teams that suck. So why not the skins. Haven't gone to a game yet but rest assured that I will "boo" lustfully when I do. I hate you Dan Snyder!

Z Presser - Our guys played hard. Geez is that now a broken record, or what? Must have learned that from Joe 2.0 Tired of hearing that. Somethings got to change.

Boy, that's going to be tough after today. Giving up a "W" to the Lions to let them end their losing streak? That's just unacceptable. But, should we have exepcted any less? Everyone predicted that this could happen and it did.
I can't believe they didn;t even throw the ball into the end zone. So much for us having so called tall receivers. That call, and a lot of others I think falls on Coach Z. And the reuslt?
Bye, Bye Coach Z! It is now official. We are now the laughing-stock of the NFL. We have sub-par players, and maybe a head coach too, in key postiions. Yeah, the players play the game and have to make plays. But, that big thud causing the tremor in the ground is the sky falling. OMG. What a week this is going to be. Hold on and buckle up.
To be as PG as humanly possible:
Zorn's gone!
Hall, Laundry, Smoot and Haynsworth are ALL busts. $100 million + down the toilet. I actually feel bad for Fletcher, he is the ONLY defensive player that shows up every week. And Orakpo.
The O line couldn't win a highschool game.
Goodbye Campbell, Portis and Betts!
Time for an enima

I'm not suggesting you get rid of Zorn Kazoo, which was the point of my statement. I agree with you, you are throwing in the towel before the 4th game of the season. Zorn was in over his head from day 1, however, I don't think anyone would look at our coaching situation and think it's an ideal situation, which is why Zorn is our guy now.

Your use of platitudes is devastatingly effective as is your ignoring the point. Doh, I didn't mean "devastating."

At least the Gibbs 2.0 teams put up a fight and lost in soul crushing fashion to decent teams. This version can hardly put up a fight against a team that had not won a game since 2007.

Ok Kazoo, you tell me why Zorn is the head guy, you tell me why all the other guys that were interviewed are not here now as the head coach?

Get Zorn out of here and take Campbell with him. There are guys in old age homes who play their Parcheese games with more intensity than some of the players on this team.

We need to be a No-Huddle, buffalo bills Jimkelly style offense.

This is tough because the Lions are obviously better than the o'fer team advertises, but the Skins ineptitude on offense has to be unbearable at this point.
Is the Redskins' head coach position cursed under Snyder, and if so, what good does it do to go out and get Mike Shanahan?
Jim Zorn was what, 9-9 in his first 18 games? Is that so bad for a guy that's new to the head coach thing? The problems are deeper and I think much higher.

The only upside of a loss like this is the upside of the hair pulling and crying of the losers who are always running us down anyway. They're such morons it's just so funny and if anything I'm glad they lost even if I'm not glad we did. They are people who deserve to follow the Lions. I guess DC is just too transient a city who are going to pick up the fair weather fans.
Rant on, babies. You're redeeming the day a little.

Maybe the real insight here is that not only is Coach Z the head coach, but he is also the play caller on offense. That is where some real problems seem to be. Unfortunately, you can't let the play caller go without letting Z go. Again, some real questioable play calls in certain situations. Zero yards rushing in the entire first half? Unacceptable.
I'm still amazed and confused by the last play. So much for our so called "tall" wide receivers. Not even throwing the ball into the endzone is senseless. The hook and ladder in that situation had no hope of working.
Do they have a way to measure the boo sound level at FedEx next week. Probably won't be too loud anyway because there probably won't be that many people there anyway.

Well, that was the worst loss I can remember seeing in. . .
. . . . .hmm. We've had tougher losses, maybe, but I can't recall anything as "low" as this one. Can't imagine this bodes well for Zorn's job security.

You could say that about anyone we hired, why didn't we hire the others! They were the only one willing to come here!
As for your wanting me to make your case for you and then disprove it, pass. You need to establish your claim that no one would come here.

People venting frustration on a message board will ultimately have no effect on whether this team wins or loses. Unless your're on the coaching staff or front office or a player. I'm sure nobody wanted to see a loss to the Lions but that didn't prevent it from happening.

Frank Hanaahan says the Skins are done psychologically, and this season is done.
Is that a good enough reason? He says no one seems all that pissed in the locker room. Unbelievable! Unacceptable!

I can't believe we didn't throw the ball into the endzone!!!! What the heck. I would have been more happy if Jason threw a pick IN THE ENDZONE then whatever you call that last play!!!
