I've talked to Colt a few times and trust me he's not 6'3!!

OK, how tall does HE say he is.........?

June Jones is 6-4 and he's standing a little bit in front of Colt there.

Image

There's offensive lineman Mike Lafaele who is 6-1 having to reach up quite a bit to hug him.

And there he is on the cover of Madden 09.

Seriously though, I don't think 6-3 is a media guide boost.

 Collins looks more like a tall computer guy than any kind of athlete, much less a NFL quarterback.

Really? I guess you forgot that Tom Brady guy (117 QB rating over 16 games; Todd had 106 over 4 games)?

You collins guys are on crack.............dude played out of his ass for a few games last year...........colt is a flyer...campbell has pedigree and is always improving............we need O LINE........no matter whos passing, whoever Pete Kendall was supposed to block is in their face.....heyer/jansen is a joke as well...either of those jokers would be lucky to make another teams roster.........and as I stated earlier Thomas and Rabach are like 100........Even samuals makes the pro bowl cuz of recognition...he looks a little fatter and slower each season..........if we rebuild the O Line has been Todd and never will be colt should not see the field

and El needs to be a cap casualty or resigned for the minimum.

Colt is slouching in that picture and draw a line with your eyes from Colt's ankle bone across the screen. Collins' ankle is at least 1-2 inches higher. This means either he's standing farther back or wearing shoes with a thicker sole (since they're high tops that's probably more likely it.)

Are you crazy? They all need to be watching Todd Collins! He led this team to the playoffs. He is a real veteran with real experience and he rules. We should have started him all along, we'd have won 12 games with him as QB!

will admit Todd did play well at the end last year.......but realistically he was crappy as the starter in Buffalo 25 years ago and looked lost in the preseason......I just dont really see dude being our future where if jc17 works out next years wed be set.........as i stated anyhow its all moot unless the OLine is overhauled

(1) As much as I don't like to I've got to back up JC. He was better this season than he was the last season. With an O-line like we have that says a lot. He's our future at least until next December and hopefully until next January.
(2) Todd Collins took us to the Play-offs but he's not our future. As far as veteran status I'd rather have a Charlie Batch in there anyday. That's the Pittsburgh back up right? We need to get a guy like that.
(3) Brennan needs to be ready to be Charlie Batch period. I've heard some bad ju-ju bout mister Colt but I'll let time be the judge and keep my mouth shut.
(4) How many draft picks have we wasted over the past few years picking up quarterbacks when we should've been getting O and D line guys?
(5) It doesn't matter who the quarterback is as long as he can manage the game and the run game is solid. Our run game will suck without a younger O-line.

How did I know you would say something like that...they are touching arms!! Colt right leg is.....nevermind...

I was shocked when I stood next to Colt at how small he is...IMO that's why he didn't get drafted high...he's 6'3 in cleat and a helmet!!

Colt is the future.

Bottom line is Jason Campbell has not been up to par. What more is there to it than that. He has not won us many games.

Plain and simple it should be an open competition next season. May the best man win. That will be Brennan. I predicted it when we drafted him and it is coming to fruition. Brennan will lead this team back to the SuperBowl!

With a name like Colt the guy was born to be a QB! Colt! Colt! Colt!

On a sad note, CB just lost his record for most touchdowns thrown in college football history.
